I worked out I can get 8 shipped to me for ~$760, I assume the PSUs are probably worth about $50 at least and the s7s will probably sell for $50-100?

How sure are you that these even come with PSU's??

I was assuming they didn't come with PSU

The Bitcoin network protocol was designed to be extremely flexible. It can be used to create timed transactions, escrow transactions, multi-signature transactions, etc. The current features of the client only hint at what will be possible in the future.

They better had. It's like saying how do we know they come with the signal cables, the control computers... Hopefully they do, they're still parts of the miner.

Have you never ordered a miner new from Bitmain? They don't ship with a PSU... you have to order a PSU on the side.. I wonder if we can contact bitmain and ask.. if it DID come with a PSU... then redeeming definitely seems worth it as we could sell the S7s (if theres still demand) and PSUs

I know the others don't come with a psu but I always assumed these once do considering they inflate the price at "The Shop" by like $200.

You could always email and ask.

I'm getting mixed signals.
https://enforum.bitmain.com/bbs/topics/4014 - says no but they asked them quite while ago.

It was also asked here somewhere [according to a google search] and the S2s apparently came with a psu.

Note their official facebook reply, PSU is not included.

The maintenance has rocketed recently as Bitcoin plumited.
I don't think it's actually possible for Bitcoin to fall in a general sense so just wait for it to rise and the market value will go up. You'll still get profit from it if you continue mining and hopefully you'll roi before redemption.

The difficulty rises too fast. I think it is not possible to get back your 11 BTC.

My deepest condolences. You should always do a research before you invest. There is no way to recover your investment, sorry. Sad New asics are coming out, so difficulty is rising steadily.

I doubt it's going to fall any lower than it currently has.

Before the start of the price surge to about 16k, the S7s had maintenenace of 75% (when I bought them quite cheaply) and then that went back down to ~40% maintenance so it is possible this one will happen in a similar way.

I have the feeling that Bitmain is going to phase out the cloud mining. I have had that feeling ever since they paid out their last Pacmic contract a year ago. You will probably have to just buy the S11 outright and mine from home if you want to mine. Which is a real pain because many of those machines are quite loud and are not suitable for home.
