Hello,

I'm looking for portuguese teachers over skype.

Prior experience is a plus, english is a must. You also must have a headset, webcam and a good internet connection. Compensation is 10$ per hour, paid in bitcoin or paypal.

You'll be teaching me or other student of different backgrounds. lessons usually in afternoon/evening and last 60-90 minutes.

Please write to portuguese@rune.33mail.com and let me know about yourself, your experience etc. Also remember to leave your skype name so i can get back to you.

Hope to hear from you!

The grue lurks in the darkest places of the earth. Its favorite diet is adventurers, but its insatiable appetite is tempered by its fear of light. No grue has ever been seen by the light of day, and few have survived its fearsome jaws to tell the tale.

What is the difference?

The accent is somewhat different. If a Portuguese citizen speaks quickly, a Brazilian may not understand and vice versa.

Brazillians can speak as fast as they want and we will understand them(at least I do).
We watch brazillians soap operas since we are born, cara. lol
I have a lot of brazillian friends(from my other interests, not from the bitcoin world) and when I speak with them I speak with brazillian accent. <--- That worried me for a while because I was afraid they thought I was making fun of them. I just can't help it, happens naturally Cheesy Even when IM'ing them I use brazillian slang.

What is the difference?

The difference is larger, imho, than the difference between American and British English. Large accent difference, some differences in vocabulary too.

 Smiley

There are some brazillians from specific regions that I simply cannot understand what they're talking. It's a different accent, even brazil as different accents.

Now that's up to OP. We have no clue what he needs.
