Grix is one good man, he answered all my questions and his laser works perfect! U can see he made it himself but none the less it looks and feels really nice. I was happy to be able to pay in BTC. I used a split payment option BTC/Paypal. So if anyone els doesnt have enough BTC but does wanna spend it, here is the right place to do so.

Glad to see I am still remembered  I first "saw" bitcoin at SELEM one year, Mariomaster brought a multi gpu rig and I shrugged it off... Still kicking myself, years later  |

Good news: In around a month or two there will be a reorganizing of our catalog. Lower prices on many items (especially higher powered models), and some new models!

Is there much out there more powerful than the 700mW violet for a single-mode laser? I love my big blue one, but you really can't focus it down to much more than a small bar. I'd like to try something that can get really fine.

Unfortunately I think that diode is the most powerful single-mode out there. This is because while most other powerful laser diodes are used in for example laser video projectors where divergence doesn't matter that much, violet diodes are used in blu-ray burners, which requires a very focused dot that you only can get from single-mode diodes. I find this all very cool.
Though I just cannot understand why you would spend 260 dollars on a laser.
People spend money on lots of weird stuff When I got my first laser, it didn't take long before I wanted a stronger one because it was so cool. And after the next one I wanted an even stronger one and so on. I know people from laser enthusiast forums who have spent close to a thousand dollars for just a few milliwatts of a rare colored laser such as yellow or cyan. |
