And people expect to compete this kind of farm with their 50Gh/s miner at home ...

Well, we get free rental at home so that is a bonus.
Yeah, but most people have to pay more for electricity (some of these farm pay 0.02$ / kW/h), they cannot have quantity discounts and these kind of miners almost always have a superior efficiency...

Yup, we need cheap electricity and cheap miner to compete.

Yeah but the problem is that mining is a (very) expensive hobby and as an individual getting a ROI is almost impossible. I think that might be a problem if all hashing power is only owned by a handsome of corporations.

How about cloud mining? Don't you think it is the future instead? No worries, no maintenance, no problems.

How about ponzi? Cloud mining is just like buying future btc but you dont know when the shop close and leave. With current mining diff, you're better just to buy BTCs right off. Based on your sig, you're just biased troll or a complete idiot.

The cloud mining would not sell ghs if the profit is better then selling..

That isn't actually true for a whole host of reasons, but just mining yourself gives four main problems.

1) You don't have a customer base, so you are a mining operation, not a business.
2) You have to turn Bitcoins into fiat by purely selling them, which if you need to do in big blocks gives you a liquidity selling problem.
3) As you have no customers you can't sell them more services. Again you have an operation not a business.
4) You have no visibility of demand for the next generation of kit, and you alone have to make the right 'guess' about the invest/return model. By having customers with contracts that roll over one another you get a more sensible version where "many people make better choices".

Customers = business = growth.
Mining for your self = a hot room, no customers

So basically all you are trying to say is when it is company it is bad, because they earn on it. And mining is only good when you are doing it yourself? I got it right? This is not so logical to me...

We couldn't deny that there is some logic on his statement.
Anyway another thing that must be consider is inversion cost, credits and BTC price risk

As inversions for big datacenters are big, probably you will need credits to finance them, credits are funded mostly on fiat currencies and there is a high risk for the company owners to be unable to pay out them if BTC goes down compared to that currency (As it's doing right now)
In that scenery has sense to sell part of the mining power that was buyed at volume discount prices in order to reduce that risk.

This is my HashOcean referee link, if you will register with them please use this link.
