after installing VBox try its additions. what i have is Vbox v.4.2 with VBoxGuestAdditions_3.1.0
this addition makes the virtual machine like a normal window. it is so cool Smiley

When you have set-up your virtual machine, you'll have to mount a bootable device. Just download whaterver linux .iso you want, and then mount it. Don't forget to dismount it when you've installed the system.

Virtualbox is not hard to use. Just use the presets and you'll be fine most of the time.

Virtualbox is good enough. But it lacks the fullscreen feature Cry

You need to install "guest additions" to get adjustable window size including fullscreen.

In "devices" choose "insert guest additions cd image".  Depending on your host operating system, it should find the cd image itself, otherwise you will have to hunt for it. Guest additions is included with the virtualbox download.

Best scenerio is using a linux host and creating your VB operating systems.  Even using Solaris as a host OS is a good solution if it supports your hardware.
