Thank you TheBlogChain for agreeing to test our Turing Stations Razor and Atlantis miners! We look forward to your review.

is TheBlogChain legit?

we see 2 reviews done in text but no screenshots of it phisically, only prerendered done in 3D modeling software, normally a review consist of seeing the actual hardware setup and inside pictures of it etc

Someone needs to pay them a visit and get some picturess and not prerendered shit done in CAD/3DSMAX if there the real deal

I think we all know the drill already. No picture, no video, domain registered just 2 weeks ago on 16.08 and under a proxy name. 95% it's a scam!

They do accept CC so if someone wants to have fun he should do it, but be prepared for a scam!

P.S. I love the case design of the 7TH/s miner. It has a smaller room for intake air compared to the 5TH/s miner even if it generates more heat. Pro design!

They are not necessarily work with them. Maybe they received some money for the article or they just took them as a good company. Journalists aren't aware of what's going on in the bitcoin mining scene with all the scams.

Yeah, just look what you have to send them first.

Quote
- Photo of ID or Passport (front and back);

- Photo of any utility bill (from the last 3 months). The name must be the same as the one written on the credit card.

- Photo of credit card (front and back)

Extremely likely to be a scam.

Or they simply don't care. It's not their job. Look at this forums rules regarding scams and apply to the journalists.

Usual pattern for most scams: Sock puppet new account either feigning ignorance and asking "what do you think of this?" introducing the alleged hardware for the first time, or for the less experienced scammers: "this is great" in support, usually saying they bought from them.

No doubt in my mind that it is a scam, I think they tick every red flag in the scammers handbook.

Just my personal opinion, others can feel free to throw their life savings away here... (this company won't get a cent from me).

For laughs, check out the back end of the "TURING RAZOR MINER 7TH/s":

The claimed power consumption is 3.2kW, and it is only serviced by two small fans at the back (plus some small PSU fans). The rest of the back is "boarded up", no vent holes at all! That box doesn't look like it could dissipate 3.2kW of heat.

And WTF are all those connectors for? I don't need a headphone jack or microphone jack on a bitcoin miner (if that is what those small round connectors are, it's not clear). Two ethernet jacks? A serial port?

Looks like an old server.

If they want to establish ANY kind of credibility here, Video, pool stats, photos, video of miner hashing with cgminer+ realtime pool stats. For starters. THEN they need to somehow show they will ship. Send a unit to a trusted member or two in the community. Dogie as has been mentioned.

This will help in marketing efforts....BUT they need to show they are manufacturing AND offer guarantees they are not mining with people's hardware.

Again you want to make a real name for yourself? Those are some steps to get started. Otherwise if you cannot do those things, like all others you will be seen as a scam and the burden of proof is on  you to show you are not a scam.

Oh and considering your phone number it actually places you in Broward County in Florida not Norway as you claim (red flag), it would be nice to see a physical address to identify the legitimacy of your operation. Also corporate registration (not that it matters as other companies have Delaware registrations and still scam people but it helps as a start). But at least a physical address starts to provide some validation of your operation for starters. There was no address on your website.

You have evidence of any of the so called testimonials in action where are these posted besides your website? It's easy to make up these testimonials from a marketing standpoint. Until we see physical proof of this hardware working in detail, it will be a hard sale. As has been said all the flags for a scam are here. The 3 week piece is also what other companies have done.

You know what? I think it's time to call out the periodicals that don't seem to be doing to homework.

http://www.coinfinance.com/news/turingstations-starts-razor-bitcoin-miner-shipment

If CoinFinance.com seems to believe TuringStations is a viable entity, then what other products or services are they misrepresenting as gospel to shove down our throats?

I may be a tad off-base with the above, but hopefully the gist of what I'm trying to relay comes across.

Then why have you posted this information knowing its false and the company is like a scam? People can find more information here: https://bitcointalk.org/index....

They contacted me and said they would send me a unit to test and they wanted me to run ads.  This has happened to me before, a company wants a story to be done on them so they promise to send a test unit to get you put up a blog post.  I told them I would buy equipment instead of just testing a unit but I told them I wanted to pay by credit card because they have no record of delivery.  Then they stopped answering me.  I would not send them any money.

Could be Josh Zipkin. He did admit he would be starting other entities to sell "miners". And the wording on that site is curiously similar to what they had on their old site. Some of it is even verbatim.

The more I think of it, the more it's possible that the above has merit. That would definitive explain away why the readable boxes weren't properly ticked on the servers of all three entities: TS's site; its news/review site; its escrow site. Because Joshua Zipkin doesn't know how to do it as I've just shown on AMT's thread.

This fucker, Josh Zipkin, just can't stand it that his dad, Harry Zachariah Zipkin, you can call him Harrison, has been successful with his scam throughout the years, but he just can't seem to get a break because everybody's out to get him each time he raises his ugly fat head.

For me is 100% scam.

One of the main thing I found out is that the main domain and the escrow system are the same people, so don't think you are safe if you are doing escrow with those sites.

Edit. they just removed the product images (turing razor miner), this is funny

Humm, interesting, I took off my miners from there, is look like they are not real for what they say, they were giving away everyday(August) some S2 if I'm not wrong the last draw was a day after I signup that was on 27, so I don't pay much attention on what they say.

Hello Ivo,

Thank you for contacting Turing Stations AS., my name is Aaron and I'm
happy to meet you.
I'm sorry but we do not recommend buying this product by bank transfer as
this product will go out of stock in the following days and transfers
usually take around 5 to 12 days. You can make the transfer but I can not
guarantee that your transfer will be confirmed in time. You may receive
the product in our second batch in November. Please try to use one of our
other instant payment methods to make sure you are getting your product
now. Once products have a 0 stock, the product page will change to Out of
Stock and you will no longer have the ability to use the payment system.
(28.Cool
Yes, it is possible to purchase our products with a credit card but special
rules apply to this kind of payment as we are very careful regarding this
kind of payment.

Our products have a high price range and there is a high risk of fraud
(chargebacks) when accepting payments with credit cards.

We have no choice but to require a list of documents to confirm your
ownership of the credit card:

- Photo of ID or Passport

- Photo of any utility bill (from the last 3 months max). The name
must be the same as the one written on the credit card.

- Photo of credit card

All photos must be clear and in high definition!

Please confirm your acceptance of this terms. If you accept, a sales person
from Turing Stations AS. will contact you with further instructions.

If possible, we recommend using one of our faster payment options with
immediate confirmation. There is a risk the product will go out of stock
before we confirm your documents.
(29.Cool

Thank you for providing these details but our sales team has rejected your
request. Sincerely, I think your documents are valid but we have been the
target of a lot of fraud attempts in the past days, it is very
problematic. Your documents have been deleted from our servers and will
not be kept or used in any way.

I am very sorry we could not authorize you to pay with a credit card for
our products. Please do not hesitate to contact me for any other details.
(3.9)

I apologize again for having to reject your request but there is really
nothing I can do, please understand.
I am very certain you will not be able to secure a unit if you pay by bank
transfer but we do not force anyone to pay using our more simple payment
methods but I strongly advise you to use Bitcoins to purchase the Atlantis
or any other miner in stock as this will provide you immediate
confirmation. Bank transfers are usually used by wholesale customers who
purchased our products in large quantities.
(3.9)
I tried asking sales department about a reason but they did not supply me
with one. As far as I know, a lot of people have been trying exploit our
payment system and we are rejecting this form of payment for new
customers.
I am so sorry Sir I can not help you to complete your order, I tried
everything but it is impossible for me to open a payment interface for
you.

What a coincidence that what they request to prevent fraud is exactly what they need to commit fraud.

If you seriously sent them those documents I'd contact your credit card company ASAP !!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh and expect to start receiving letters from debt collectors as they take out loans in your name.

For sure they prefer Bitcoin because to get a refund will be impossible. But if you pay with Visa,MasterCard you have 120 days to Chargeback(Chargeback is a process that allows debit and credit card holders to reverse transactions when there is a problem with the goods or services they've purchased using their cards )
So is a SCAM 100%

As the market for crypto currency continues to expand, the demand for ever increasing algorithms and power capacity must concurrently grow. This provides a theoretical unlimited market opportunity. Application-specific integrated circuit (or ASIC) technology, has allowed the coin mining industry to launch crypto-currency generation to new levels. Our mining technology is built with ASIC 28mn chips, to provide our clientele with only the best mining hardware available on the market.

Either Coca-Cola has teamed up with Protexin and are both now in the bitcoin mining industry, or Turing Stations AS is a scam, thus anybody who has ordered from them don't come crying here when your precious had yet to arrive, for we no longer have time for your ignorance.

I hope not, but I fear people who don't know about the bitcointalk forum will send money, then do a search and find this thread and discover they have been scammed Sad

I may be a tad off-base with the above, but hopefully the gist of what I'm trying to relay comes across.

lots of the review sites are paid me thinks.

Didn't you post a video where you drove to their place and they gave you a free miner if you agreed to post a video saying how happy you were with them - even after you'd spent 100's and 100's of posts slagging them off? Maybe it wasn't AMT...

Edit: Nope, it was AMT: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iO-EGJhdx4U

The way it went down was as follows:

Joshua Zipkin of AMT put a bounty on my head for 20 BTC for anybody to bring my ass to Philly. Or, I could come on my own accord. Receiving a miner wasn't even in the equation, nor was I expecting to walk away with one after the meetup.

The meetup had nothing to do with me being proved that AMT was operating on the up-and-up and everything to do with Josh wanting to see my ass for real, for he was under the impression that I didn't exist, even after I posted my IL DL sans any masking superimposed over the obit of my dad of which I penned and had published in three periodicals.

Everybody on AMT's thread, including I, knew what the deal was prior to me leaving IL, then arriving in PA.

Once in Josh's office, and after he scanned both my official IDs for his records (I had no qualms with providing at the time, for I was operating on the honor system), Josh went into a diatribe as to why he didn't have to pay me the 20 BTC, for I had hurt his business. I knew then, within 5 minutes, what type of person I was dealing with and stated to play his game after he offered a miner to me for compensation. The other caveat was that I would start moderating AMT's official thread for a $1,000/mo, of which I looked him straight in his lying Jewish Bulgarian eyes and utter, "Damn straight I'd do it, bud!" (paraphrased). I was in lying-toe-to-toe mode with this fuck. He suggested we shoot a video to help further his cause, of which I had no objections, for I knew by morning that I would be posting disclaimers as to what and why that video consisted of, of which I'm on record for such, for it wasn't deleted. This act in turn cause fuzznuts to threaten my life a second time. The third time was about 3 weeks ago, of which there is a warrant for his arrest as soon as he gets back to the states, ergo if he shows up in LV, he's one dumb ass motherfucker. Fuck, what the hell am I saying, he won't get pass customs at LaGuardia.

BTW, in that video you'll notice a portable screwdriver. It was positioned further to the left till I moved in while Josh watched me to its current position. I did so to relay to the audience that AMT's customers are getting a screwing by having it cropped in the video. That video was shot 3AM local, and I was dead tired, but still was able to out-wit that fucker Joshua Zipkin. And I won't stop still that fucker's behind bars.

If he is coming in International he will be coming in at JFK. if anyone has details on his flight info into the US and he passes through NY I will make a point of being there filming the entire arrest. At least then it will put him under the microscope and expose all the other crap he has pulled.

I can't believe that there are still people who keep falling into these scams.
At this point if you really want to buy some hardware to mine, you should buy from a company that has it in stock and proofs of equipment delivered.
