How come my activity is stuck?

So i've posted 12 times since the current period started at 02/09/2014. Anyway, why im stuck at the same activity? This activity thing is driving me nuts.

Activity is increased once every 2(two) weeks.
The next increase will be available from 09/16

What makes you think you havent? You mustve got the points because as Eal said you've posted in 3 periods and got the full 42 points for that.

No, you may have already gotten those 14 points prior to then (yet still in that period).

No, you may have already gotten those 14 points prior to then (yet still in that period).

Well I do worry about activity, while I post normally. Also, signature campaing is the only way to get BTC unless you have enough FIAT to invest (99% of people dont). If we want BTC to succeed, we need more ways to get BTC, most people aren't going to put their FIAT into BTC because its too risky. For now signatures a good way to get a little BTC monthly, but we need more ways.

I still dont understand the activity thing anyway, i think i may be mentally retarded for these things. I cant understand the algorithms. Can anyone explain it in layman terms? I thought it was, 14 points in 14 posts inside these 14 day periods.

Perhaps the confusion is coming from OP's activity having increased at the start of the most recent period, given that he already had made more than 42 posts at the time - he was probably expecting it to increase as he made 14 new posts through the period.

Also, yes, activity is updated every 30 minutes; that is, activity is limited not only by each 2 week time period, but also by your number of posts - so, if you have fewer posts than your maximum possible activity, every 30 minutes the forum will check to see if you have made new posts and update your activity accordingly. But that is no longer relevant here, as your post count exceeds your activity.

No Offence, Sorry, its wrong! It used to be 30 minutes but it was changed to 60 minutes.
