Dear miners and investors, I want to offer you my mining bonds.

What I offer:
bonds, 1Mh/s each, currently only 2500, but I will increase this amount over time.
Payouts at least 105% PPS, and at least once per week.
The bond will never expire.
I reserve the option to repurchase bonds at 110% of the highest traded price over the last 15 days.

ASIC update path

Quote
Once BLF will start selling their ASIC devices, I'll buy them. And once, I'll start recieve bitcoins from the ASIC miners, I'll increase my bonds payouts in 6 times, up to 630% PPS. Also I'll create a new mining bonds with 4x that value (25.2 mhs/s 100% PPS) and will offer 0.12 BTC update from the JAH to that bonds 1:1.
Why don't I make BFL-preorder? Because it's just a money locking, it's sensless: there are no way to produce a few ASIC chips. If BFL will success, then they will have at least tens of thousands chips, or even more then 100,000. This is totally different situation compared to BFL FPGA devices. In their interest to produce and sell the devices as quick as they can. So I decided to not make preorder, but wait. When and if BFL will success, I'll buy their ACIS devices.
Also as a backup option, I already bought ASICMINER shares. So, if ASICMINER will pay for shares before BFL success I'll also will start my update.

Once I'll start recieving bitcoins from ASIC miners, I'll offer updates:
Free: 1 Mh/s 105% PPS Rastamine bond will update up to at least 630% PPS.
Paid: 1 Rastamine bond + 0.12 BTC for 1 at least 25.2 mh/s 100% PPS bond.

Where my postASIC bitcoins will came from:
1. I'll order ASIC devices from BFL, once they'll start selling it.
2. I already have ASICMINER shares.

*If BFL devices will have speed/price lower than 80% from anounced, I'll change my offer. Also if ASICMINER will pay less then 80% from anounced, I'll change my offer.

About Me
I'm Ukrainian miner. Most of you don't know me, but currently I'm working on obtaining the "verified" status on GLBSE.

The holder of these bonds will receive as coupons a number of bitcoins equivalent to 100% PPS output of 25.2 MH/s per bond, for as long as they hold the bond.

Dividends
Dividends are paid at weekly or more often in bitcoins.

BuyBack
The issuer can buy back the bond at any time at a price equal to 105% of the highest price the asset was traded on BitFunder over the prior 360 hours.

Q: How much mining power do you really have now?
A: Currently I have 5 Gh/s.

Q: If some of your hardware breaks down, how could you pay the dividends?
A: I have enough own hardware to cower this situation. And I have more than 100 BTC in reserve in case contingencies.

Could you give an estimation on how would your shares be priced?

How much mining power do you really have now? If you only have 2.5GH/s, if some of your hardware breaks down, how could you pay the dividends?

Perhaps he's using the money from the bonds sale to buy more mining hardware, no?

Maybe, but the current OP gives so little information.

Now I have 3.5 + 1 (in near future) without money from bonds. Yes, I will use money from bonds for future purchases.

Considering market prices, I think 0.3 or close is a good price.

It seems that mining bonds are becoming a money making machine for bond issuers. I understand people's craziness to buy them, but it is very unprofessional to just throw out some data in the OP and wait for shining coins from bidders.

We would be very happy and consider buying a considerable amount of them, if you could answer these questions:

1. How do you support the bonds? By real tangible computation power, or other sources of income?

2. If the answer to 1 is the former, could you put some pictures of your mining rigs and the transaction data of your mining pool online?

3. Do you have backup plans for emergency?

Why "at least" 105% PPS of 1 MH/s and not 100% PPS of 1.05 MH/s? Roll Eyes

After all you have to think about the fact that after ~1 year (or a bit more) you'll have to mine completely for free to bondholders - indefinitely or until you buy back bonds. Are you really up for this or do you just want to get a cheap loan so you can order some BFL equipment and after a few weeks/months buy back? Maybe think of ways how you could convince me (and others) that this is not the case.

Why "at least" 105% PPS of 1 MH/s and not 100% PPS of 1.05 MH/s?
Because I have more than 100% PPS: Goat mining pool, Clipse, GPUMax, whatever. I have more than 100% PPS, and I offer more than 100% PPS. Technically it is the same with 1.05 MH/s, but 105% is more honest.

1. Even if this is true. Aren't it's profitable for investors? 110% + weekly dividends?
2. This is not true. But how can I convince you (and others)?

Verified: Email Address. IPO launched before any demonstrated interest, clarification of contract, references, or community feedback. No response to important queries (plans in case of emergency, pictures of rigs, etc). Both an email and stats on a pool are easy to fabricate or rent. So far, you have provided no tangible proof of identity, not answered serious questions, and launched without fixing or addressing any of these problems.

Starting to smell like mackerel to me...

I selling mining bonds, one bond, one Mh/s. My contract is pretty simple, I don't see, what side of it may need some clarification. Community feedback? If you like it, you buying it, if no, than no, that is the best feedback.

I'm Ukrainian, and there are some issues to verify my ID on GLBSE.

I'm sure that there are, and I bear no ill intent. Just understand that you have the burden of proof here.

I selling mining bonds, one bond, one Mh/s. My contract is pretty simple, I don't see, what side of it may need some clarification. Community feedback? If you like it, you buying it, if no, than no, that is the best feedback.

If no one buys it, it isn't much of an IPO, is it? I assume you want to sell these; I'm trying to help you by showing why, and least IMHO, people aren't buying them.

I thought that I currently answer of that question. I have more mining power, that I selling, and I have money reserve in BTC. If this is not an answer, that, probably, I do not clearly understand the question. What kind of emergency?

You didn't, not in this thread at least. Thank you for answering.

And thank you for posting pictures of your rigs. They're certainly quite inventively constructed.

Since it is a 1 MH/s mining bond, it would make sense that he issues another 2500 bonds and sells these...

Ow, one of your mails I see in spam folder. That's how Yandex works.
Currently I have 5-th, 6-th, and 7-th Radeons in my rig. And I planning increase my mining power with 7990.
There are some issues with FPGA boards in Ukraine, I thinking about it, but currently I do not have FPGA-related plans in near future. BTW, I have low enough electricity cost to stay profitable on 40nm GPU.

I just receive my Icarus and now I'm able to increase my bonds offer up to 4500.
At this week, or maybe at next (it's a bit difficult to get 79xx here, since Bitcoin is up) I'll increase my hashing power and bonds offer up to 5000. Likely, I'll do this without dedicated post here.

So, I decided to offer postASIC mining update for my bonds.

So, the possibility we could not receive the data from GLBSE is looks pretty significant.

Please give me the following information:

BTC address

I want to connect this information with your bitcointalk username, so please send me a PM with your claim. If you do not want this connection, you can send me an e-mail at jah.claims@ymail.com

I got a list from Nefario. This list is very incomplete and I decided to manage it by hands, until the situation becomes clearer.

I think I'll make payments this Sunday.
This payments will cover period from
2012-10-4 00:00 GLBSE time to
2012-12-8 23:59 GLBSE time
and they will be 0.02 Ƀ per bond.

I just received full bondholders list from Nefario.
So now I can go forward. I really thought about colored coins but there is one issue: bonds should be tradable and colored coins is not mature enough yet. And only because of this I forced to go on the centralized service.
I still need some confirmations/information from bondholders but i think I'll list on the BitFunder pretty soon.

PS
When I add new information to the old lists I'm getting 5003 bonds, but in the new list one bondholder has 3 bonds less compared to the previous list, lol. That is how Nefario works (-:

Check for duplicate entries...

YABMC final list had several people with two or more accounts (which initially appeared to be a new lower share total).  Their totals were correct but you needed to consolidate the shares.

From Dec 27 you can trade JAH bonds on the BitFunder.
I made three dividend payments on BitFunder already:
on Dec 27, for period from 2012-12-8 to 2012-12-26
on Dec 31, for 4 days, and today also for 4 days.

Also, on Dec 31, I completed manually payments 0.02 Ƀ per bond for those, who wasn't in the first two lists, received from Nefario.

For the ASIC update I have ASICMINER shares and looks like soon ASICMINER will start to pay dividends and after that I'll make my update. I'm fully depended from that company, so more information you can look at the ASICMINER-topic. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=99497.0

I don't have bitcoin-otc. Probably I should register there, but this is not urgently.

Can you give details? Some transparency would be appreciated.

How many ASICminer shares do you have?

Also, how many ASIC devices have been ordered from BFL?

I feel that the bond is under valued right now - and have invested in it. But would love some more details to accurately do my calculations and figure out how much more should I buy. Thank you.

Hi wisard,
I have more ASICMINER shares than needed to cover my obligations.
And I have no devices ordered from BFL. This guys don't actually selling them and, as I wrote, I do not wont give them my money before they will sell real devices.
best, rastapool

You say you can issue more shares without a vote. Do you have any plans to do so? Will you being raising more capital if a solid ASIC option comes available?

I like how the JAH dividend schedule works. BTC mining isn't a boom or bust sort of thing, it's little by little, and the coupons coming in like this is naturally appealing.
It's 2013, waiting for a month in the dark for a dividend to come in while the bitcoin world moves at a million MPH is kind of annoying.

Could you clarify whether this increased payout from today will be the normal rate, or will dividends decrease back to normal until the next asicminer dividends?

Also, when will you release the new upgradeable shares?

Thanks!

Hi, ThickAsThieves
In my first post I said that I can change my offer if ASICMINER will pay less than announced.
Back in summer ASICMINER declared
Quote
Self-Mining with First Batch of Chips At least 12TH/s in
total, that is equivalent to 30MH/s per share
Now we have only 4.5TH/s (it's about 1/3).
It's really hard to decide what I should do.
But I definitely can't offer update to 25.2 until ASICMINER will fill all 12TH.
Truly, I don't obligated to increase dividends in 6 times. But I think can do this: I increase dividends in 6 times now (even with 1/3 from expected ASICMINER income) and wait 12TH to offer payed update.
I'd like to say more, but I don't know: we depended from ASICMINER and I don't have exactly information how ASICMINER will go.
Quote
will dividends decrease back to normal until the next asicminer dividends?
No.

Sorry if this has been posted before.

What are the intentions looking into the future for this operation? Are you planning to expand to acquire a bigger slice of the total network hashing capacity? Are you going to buy back the shares?

Hey,
camolist, pleasure to read such words.
jimmydorry,
Once ASICMINER reach 12 Th/s, I'll offer a new 25.2 Mh/s bonds. I'll offer payed update: one this new bond for one JAH bond + 0.12 BTC.
From start it will be 5000*25.2 Mh/s bonds, fully backed by ASICMINER shares. In the future I'll increase this amount over 5000 and partially or fully back it by real hardware.

Hey, iCEBREAKER,
They come from that post
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=77121.msg1119711#msg1119711

And in that post, just from numbers in my head:
1.05 * 6 = 6.3
6.3 * 4 = 25.2
0.1 (pretty round number Smiley) + 20% = 0.12
just that Smiley

I created the new RTM asset.

Quote
The holder of these bonds will receive as coupons a number of bitcoins equivalent to 100% PPS output of 25.2 MH/s per bond, for as long as they hold the bond.

Dividends
Dividends are paid at weekly or more often in bitcoins.

BuyBack
The issuer can buy back the bond at any time at a price equal to 105% of the highest price the asset was traded on BitFunder over the prior 360 hours.

You can exchange 1 JAH bond on 1 RTM bond for 0.12 BTC
use skype:
disposable.jah2rtm
for insructions. I'll give you unique BTC-address.

I'll delay dividends for a few days: you have no reasons to make exchange quicker than others.

Is it just me or does anyone else not get RTM to show up on the markets tab on bitfunder.I can see it in My Assets and can see that 2 trades have occured but has the bond not been made public yet? Not everyone does due diligence and reads the forums so I wonder how many ignorant JAH owners don't even know RTM is around yet.

I was wondering the same thing - bitfunder.com/asset/RTM RTM is tradable, but it is not visible in the Market, publicly.  One has to modify the URL by hand to get to it - I'm sure RTM will be shown soon, but it is odd that it still remains "hidden".

I agree, mining bonds wise this so far has been one of the most silent ones - because it simply just works! Smiley

If it is a good (in the sense of profitable) investment is up to debate (ask EskimoBob...  Roll Eyes), but it definitely is a well executed asset.

Each share is entitled to 25.2mH/s of mining revenue. So 2000 shares would be 50.4 gH/s which is currently 2.4Btc/day. If you can afford that many shares I sure am jelly I don't think more than 3-500 shares are even for sale currently even counting non upgraded JAH shares though. There is only 10k RTM shares max.

A question... I guess I just don't understand the structure of this fund- you are mining, and you say your shares are backed by ASICMiner shares. My calculations show a yearly return of about 40% on asicminer according to last weeks dividends, and RTM is currently paying 80% a year in dividends. What is the reason for this difference?

RTM is 25.2 Mh/s 100 PPS steady bond.
I should have 126 Gh/s 100% PPS income to manage this securities. Currently I don't have my own hardware for 126 Gh/s and I using AM income for the divs. In the future, when I'll get enough hardware, this securities will have nothing to do with the AM.
Quote
What is the reason for this difference?
Currently I don't making money by selling my bonds. The last time I did this past summer. I have no influence on the current prices. Here is the market decide what is the price. What is the reason for that prices? I don't know.
Quote
Any changes planned with this asset?
No. Only to back bonds by my own hardware. And, probably, issue more bonds, when I'll have enough new hardware.

It is expected to go down as difficulty increases. One bond equals a constant rate of 25Mh/s.

Please keep in mind that I am currently trading/holding shares of ASIC Miner, ActiveMining, Rentalstarter, Labcoin and may be posting in my own interest. Always do your own research.

As dividends are going down due to increased difficulty bond price is also going down south, is this still a good bond to invest in , can any body please throw some light on this.

Opinion:

This type of bond is generally better than owning a comparable bitcoin miner at the same price.

  • You have no equipment to maintain.
  • The dividend is constantly higher than a miner produces.
  • The dividend and price do decline, but the same happens to a miner.
  • There is no electrical cost to pay.
  • It's easier to sell when you need to.

The dividend on this bond is higher than with ASICMiner- it's just a matter of calculating if the yield in dividend will be greater than the decline in price. I think this bond, which is paying over 70% is still undervalued, and if more people start investing in it the increase in price plus dividends can make it a really good investment. I own shares though.

So I calculated approx. .07 BTC per share in the next 91 days. Assuming the decline is steady at a rate of decline of 26% per quarter, this means the next quarter would be .0518, the next .038, and the next .029. That means your one year return on your money is a total of .1888 BTC. So if you buy at .2 BTC, you will be making 94% on your money, if you buy at .3 you will make 62%, if you buy at .4 (like I did) you will make 47%.

Considering the uncertainty involved this is a fair return. Somebody just bought 67 shares at .2, so this is probably a really good deal if the share price stabilizes. Of course, if difficulty increases exponentially and mining yields decrease at an accelerating rate, then the calculation above will not be valid and the return will be less.

Ultimately whether this is a good investment or not all depends on confidence of investors, because we determine the share price. As far as mining bonds go, I figure this must be one of the best due to electricity in Ukraine being the cheapest in the world. I don't see how someone living in the US or Germany, paying 6+ cents per Kwh and paying higher cost of living for food and rent can compete with 3-4 cents per Kwh and cheaper labor, food, and rent. Since the dividends are currently backed by ASICMiner, at any price below .4, it's like buying discounted Asicminer passthrough shares.

It would be very helpful if rastapool could tell us if this rate of decline in dividends is expected to be steady or if it will accelerate.

Mining bonds don't even have to be backed by mining at all, they are just dependent on difficulty.

Yes, it is good for the issuer (if he actually does mine) to have cheap electricity, but this doesn't influence the payout of the bond at all.

Hey Rastapool any plans to increase hash power on these bonds as once 100thmine on picostocks starts mining at 200Mh/s per share for ~.28 btc RTM will loose its value quick.

Hey Ashitank, today I have no plans to increase hash power of each bond.

Hey rastapool...just picked up a share of your RTM and JAH each. Could you give me some idea as to what current estimated hashrate/share payouts we might be expecting? And when do you think next RTM dividends might be getting paid out?

Hey all
A few month passed since my last activity here. Today I have 22+ Th/s of mining power to sell.
Hardware that I use is based on the Bitfury's chips and already installed and launched.
You can chack it on the ghash.io pool.
Username is 'rastapool', same as here, password is the same as username.

Also, from today I'll increase my bond by 4x, up to 100.8 Mh/s. All other conditions remains the same.
Considering 100th prices are 0.082/0.125, I think 0.037 per RTM-bond is pretty fair.
You can purchase this bonds at https://bitfunder.com/asset/RTM

Hi again.
I discovered that 0.037 per 100.8 Gh/s is a bit too high price. And there are pretty low interest at that price.
So, I set the price down to 0.032.
There was 0.00204384 divs per bond since I offered new bonds. And I decided to return (0.037-0.032-0.00204384) = 0.003 BTC per share for all who bought for 0.037. You can see my last divs was 0.003/share and from that price is 0.032/bond.
And one more thing: nice picture for this thread

Hi rastapool,

I was the largest sharehold of RTM up until your 20x share dilution.  I own 649 shares, which was 13% of the compnay (assuming 5000 total issued RTM shares before October 1, 2013).  Please correct me if I'm wrong.

While I am happy about the 4x increase in dividends/share, I am very unhappy about my stake in the company being diluted so much.  While I realize you have the right on BitFunder to increase shares without vote, is there some way you can announce your intentions before you actually carry them out?

Thank you for the pic.  This mine is certainly an improvement over your JAH mine that you photographed over a year ago and that was comprised of several GPUs.  Where is this new 22TH mine located?

Thanks,
fewerlaws

Rastapool,
have not seen any dividends on RTM at Bitfunder since the 11th of October?   Huh Could you tell us what is happening?
Thank you.
I reread the prospectus which stated "dividends to be paid weekly or sooner".  Sorry about that.

I agree.  Any plans to do any passthru funds?  I am a US citizen and am not very happy with Bitfunder right now.

All bonds are buyed back, securities are closed on the BF.

All bonds are buyed back, securities are closed on the BF.

The buy back was performed (in the form of a dividend) before the asset was frozen.

Unfortunately, I had BitFunder's dividend reinvestment feature enabled on this asset.

As such, BitFunder performed 4 trades on my behalf before the asset was frozen.

This has left me in a position where I now hold 314 shares in a frozen asset, and a small amount of change from the buy back.

Some lucky sellers have effectively had their shares bought back twice (once by the asset issuer and once by me).

So, a few questions:

- Should the asset issuer have frozen the asset before issuing the dividend?
- Can the asset issuer even distribute dividends after the asset is frozen? (Not sure how this aspect of BitFunder works)
- Are any of the lucky sellers reading this? Wink

In the exceptional circumstance that someone wishes to return or contribute to my loss, my address is below.

Thanks for listening. Look forward to any comments.

The asset should have been frozen first.
The system has no way to know that a dividend being issued is not a normal dividend.
Not sure why anyone would want to allow trading after a final dividend payment goes out...

Thanks for the quick response Ukyo. Both TAT (on IRC) and yourself seem to agree on this point.

I understand that, in the situation that has occurred, I can't simply be refunded as the funds have went elsewhere.

Maybe the asset issuer will make a goodwill gesture if they believe some of the blame lies with them.

Yes, I see those reinvestment buys. Unfortunately I saw this after I made div payment. I should have to freeze asset first, and this situation is fully my fault.
deizel, just give me your BTC address and I'll transfer you 5.2 BTC

Hi Rastapool, thanks for coming to my aide. My BTC address is 135FGWACVPru61C5Tv2xuJmv5NREKTbQBY.

I now know to set more reasonable limits for dividend reinvestment(s) in the future.

On the bright side, we now have a funny reminder of all this in BitFunder's "My Assets" tab:

Edit - Refund received and trust feedback left. Thanks!

I still have a couple of RTM shares in Bitfunder - will they be bought back/what is the process for that? or is there a way to transfer them to Havelock (for example)?

Cheers

When you say "all bonds are buyed back" I still have RTM assets in Bitfunder and so do some of my friends.  What is the process for either a) selling them back to you, or b) transferring the assets to another registry such as Havelock?

Cheers, Dave

Your shares were bought back already and merely not deleted yet, afaik. He probably needs to take the time to destroy all shares and close the asset officially.

I have not received any BTC from such a buyback, and neither has my friend who has considerably more invested in RTM than I did.

Dave, you should see something like this on BitFunder's "Transactions" page: https://bitfunder.com/transactions

Hey all
I got some PMs and messages here. People are a bit confused about why bonds still exist after buy back.
I'll destroy it soon.
davesag
Look at the 'Transactions' page on BF. You should see something similar to what deizel posted.
Last divs was 0.00012976
And buy back was 0.03024 per share and looks like unusually big dividend payment.
Please respond in that thread, that all is fine (or that it is not, if it's not).
best, rastapool

Where are you going to setup now? I don't know if I just had unreasonable expectations, but I don't like how my shares just disappeared, and I got a payout far smaller than what I originally paid... even if this payout was the current market rate.
