I am offering a brokerage service for those who want to purchase BitVPS shares but for whatever reason do not use MPEx. I will charge 5% commission and have a minimum order volume of 5 BTC.

See otc or list of honest traders for my references.

If there is sufficient demand I will list a depositary receipt on GLBSE for BVPS.

Edit: I can offer this service for any security traded on MPEx, especially, for example, options. Place your order with me in plain English and I'll do the translation into MPEx for you.

Haha this is pretty cool. Given that there's ~6 different teams working to bring MPEx broker sites online pretty much everyone here is astounded that the first brokerage open is actually pen-on-paper so to speak.

Brendio, Mr. P has changed your OTC rating to reflect support of this effort. Good luck to you.

Thanks. I figure it best to start out small and will invest in more sophisticated infrastructure the workload warrant it beneficial.

I have lots of ideas for the bitcoin world, but only so much time and technical skills to implement them.

I am revisiting this idea. PM me if interested in a pre-IPO offer.

Are you still offering this? Nothing instant needed, but I'd like to be able to use a broker.

How are options exercised? Where does the USD come from?

(yes, I am the guy who hates this exchange. If I can make money off of it and run, though...)

Yes, I am still offering this service.

Options are automatically exercised on expiry if they are "in the money". Not USD is involved, however. They are settled in BTC at the exchange rate at the time of expiry. For a lossless hedge, you would need to buy or sell an equivalent number of bitcoins for USD at the time of expiry on an exchange that deals in fiat. I could possibly take care of that if a client wanted to fully eliminate slippage caused by the this mode of operation.

I dunno, some of them have hair, and some don't. I love the diversity of the "models."

What are your plans with BIB.BVPS shares you offered in GLBSE?

Yes, calling a person a retard because you think they don't find ears is a great way to grow trust.

That's not the point. You call something into question on the basis of some association you perceive (in spite of the fact that "the community" dislikes our dissociation from GLBSE and GLBSE-like practices). This sits just fine. I call you into question on the exact same basis, and this suddenly no longer sits just fine, or fine at all. The best way to start actually using your head for thinking is by internalizing the simple proposition that you as a subject are in no way privileged or distinguishable from the object of your thinking.

Other than that, the constant preoccupation of nobodies with "growing" things they never grew is starting to wear my patience thin. Go make something, then advise others how to make something.

So it's about your feeling of ambition?
Most of the things you seem to write have the form of 'You are shit. Look at how good i am.'
Why are you so eager to express this division?

the real question is, wtf happened to brendio and/or where did he go?
I like to sell back my s.dice derivatives and forget that I ever had that stuff.

The more proper inquiry would be why are you so eager to gloss over it.

@eskimobob: were they on glbse?
