So, one feature of p2pool that many people may not be aware of is the able to send donations to everyone using p2pool as a "thank you" to those miners for helping reduce mining centralization. globalboostyd sendmany "" "$(GET http://54.68.63.254:7225/patron_sendmany/1)" 1 "litecoin-p2pool.com BSTY P2Pool On a linux system running the BSTY wallet, this will send 1 BSTY to everyone using p2pool. Change the number after sendmany/1 to whatever... like sendmany/500... Some more info here. Speaking of sending to the litecoin-p2pool BSTY miners... I'll be soaking 500 BSTY to the miners on litecoin-p2pool BSTY Node very soon.... just sent through the test transactions: Here were the tests sent to current miners: BSTY P2Pool Patron_Sendmany Test1Here were the tests sent to current miners: BSTY P2Pool Patron_Sendmany Test2Here were the tests sent to current miners: BSTY P2Pool Patron_Sendmany Test3If this is successful in boosting BSTY p2pool hashrate (even if not on my node!), I will keep doing it. P2Pool FTW. Happy mining! That is really cool. I checked my wallet and I did receive the payout to address YM4pGHx83mqPs72eUw1JxcZaxKn1AoFvH6. That is really neat.

Totally awesome! These p2p pools have some really cool features. I'm going to Tweet this out there so everybody can leverage this feature https://twitter.com/PalmBeachHairSo, one feature of p2pool that many people may not be aware of is the able to send donations to everyone using p2pool as a "thank you" to those miners for helping reduce mining centralization. globalboostyd sendmany "" "$(GET http://54.68.63.254:7225/patron_sendmany/1)" 1 "litecoin-p2pool.com BSTY P2Pool On a linux system running the BSTY wallet, this will send 1 BSTY to everyone using p2pool. Imagine a future where IT infrastructures monitor themselves, are able to predict and respond to future business needs and can protect and heal themselves automatically.

I'll have about 22k BSTY to sell tonight. I'd like to be getting around 1100 Satoshi per coin. Anybody interested in buying? I'll take BTC.

Come join me at E-Pool and get some coins. I am not a profiteer, I want everyone to get as many coins as they can with their hash.

Thats Great CohibAA. Thats a great incentive to keep mining at your pool.

FYI, the sendmany goes to anyone mining on a peer connected p2pool node... not just my node! You can see all the addresses paid in the transaction link above. So... setup a your own p2pool node, point your miners at it, pay no fees... keep the network safe from possible malicious large mining pools, and get some rewards. Win, win.

I'll stick with AltPooler, they've been here since the beginning and much prefer the layout over p2p pool. Love my stats:-)

Yeah, i miss them too... Also i get a lot more invalid shares(?!?) then at altpooler? 2 much boooo, why? Wan't more yay... Edit: What is about rejected hashrate? It should be nearly or at 0% ? My node is located in western USA, so depending on where you are, latency may be an issue. You can try a closer p2pool node (I think one is in EU), or better to setup your own node on your miner, or a box on the local network your miners are on, and latency should be significantly reduced, which in turn reduces invalid shares. If you have your own node, and are handy with websites, you can make just about any type of graphs, etc, or use some of the open source front-ends. The other pools like altpooler and minerpools do have some nice stats pages indeed. I do see how p2pool is not as user-friendly for some people, but I think any coin with a low-ish network hash rate and any pools approaching 30% should promote p2ool nodes by individuals as a security feature. Thanks for checking it out, in either case!
