A little offtopic - I've got strange feelings when I saw mostly people on this thread adviced to use btc-e exchange only few months ago. We know what happened latter... It shows that there are too risky to stick with only single exchange, no matter how trusted it looks.

you need deposit ltc on any market or exchange .
you sell ltc and buy btc
now you can register one account on poloinex, crytopia or novaechange .....

I am using changelly.com to convert my bitcoins to altcoins and vice versa. I am not much sure if it is the cheapest way to do that or not but I find this service genuine and user-friendly so I use it often.
You just have to choose your expected currency and the currency you want to exchange and after receiving the appropriate amount in the wallet address given by them, the funds are exchanged and sent to the address provided by you.

Just go to any exchange that accepts litecoin and sell it for btc. And there you go.  |

Ok, so I want easy steps to transfer litecoins to bitcoins.
Since litecoins are better for mining, I want to mine litecoins, and then transfer them to bitcoins, so I can spend them on more stuff.
to convert your litecoin to bitcoin, coinbase has a feature to exchange litecoin to bitcoin i guest. so i recommend that wallet. i hope it will help you. |

Ypu may use shapeshift or transfer your ltc to exchange like bitfinex, bittrex etc.. and convert to equivalent amount of btc.

You can do is just sell your LTC for BTC in a trusted exchange site or if you want a more complex use the margin trading in a site.
