Ok, so I want easy steps to transfer litecoins to bitcoins.
Since litecoins are better for mining, I want to mine litecoins, and then transfer them to bitcoins, so I can spend them on more stuff.

LTC/BTC is at a very low rate right now - last week it was over .026, now it's down around .023...  Though it may go down further, but it could go up - I'm no nostrodaumus

I've been following this rate, and agree now is not a great time to sell LTC for BTC. The rate used to hover around .015. Lately it's been solidly around .030. I would at least wait until it goes past .025 to sell.

When BTC gets a boost, LTC follows, but not as quickly. I think that is what we are seeing now.

Also, OP: BTCe is good for trading, just don't hold your coin on the exchange, move them to your wallet.

i suggest also www.btc-e.com , simple, fast, efficient.

I will add my support to that view.

I just started mining LTC and used btc-e to convert my first batch of LTC into BTC. I pulled the BTC back to my wallet and it all went well.

After logging in btc-e, click the "LTC/BTC" button (should be the 4th one on the first row), enter your "Amount LTC" and "Price per LTC" and click "Sell LTC".  Cheesy

There are a few options around but I have made and account at vircurex for a similar reason.  I'd suggest looking into a couple options and pick which seems best.

Their are so many reputed exchanges who are dealing in LTC trading and you can just deposit their and sell them for bitcoins. just go for reputed one like, poloniex, bittrex, yobit, cryptopia. this are some exchanges where it is trading.
