Awhile back I started a list to track altcoin cryptocurrency exchanges, and thought I'd post it here because I was unable to find anything similar on bct.
If you're looking for an exchange for your new or resurrected coin, or if you just forgot the name of an exchange where you stashed some btc, or if you just need closure, start here. Altcoin and Bitcoin exchanges come and go so often that they are difficult to keep up with. Some look legit but are scams. Some were legit but became scams. Some are legit but have no traction in the market. Some were hacked. Whatever, here is all of them that we can find.
I don't endorse any of them. They are presented here just for your information and amusement, and as an attempt to provide a kind of historical record. I might update this from time to time, or I might just forget about it or lose interest in it. Who knows. You're welcome to take it and make a better list.
