I use 19988, runing console commands would help you out Wink, here is my config for solo and I find blocks

Code: (Swapcoin.conf)
testnet=0
server=1
listen=1
daemon=1
gen=1
connection=1
maxconnections=300
rpcconnect=127.0.0.1
rpcuser=YourUsername
rpcpassword=YourPass
rpcallowip=*
rpcport=19988

You can use any RPC port above 1024 or not used by another program.

Yes off course, I think the question was regarding default port.

I got a buddy reporting strange activity following downloading this wallet. I would steer clear of this scam coin.

Its a virus guys. When you launch the wallet a svchost.exe file gets copied into your user folder. You can confirm this by checking the date and time it is copied there. svchost.exe should never appear in any folder other than Win32.

Also, if you check the registry settings you may see svchost file being referenced, basically indicating it will be loaded upon bootup.
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run

If you see this you are infected.

Fortunately, I had bit defender and it blocked most of the damage.

More information about this can be searching svchost virus and clicking on the first link (Malware Removal Guide)

I've added a pool for this coin. The link is in my sig below. I've also sent it to the dev to post in the op.

GlobalBoost-Y (BSTY) Pool: http://bsty.altpooler.com
Gapcoin - The largest, decentralized prime gap search https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=822498.0

Beta launch of our new mining pool is currently scheduled for January 5, 2015.

We will feature Unitus merged mining for the yescrypt algorithm upon launch.

If you are a CPU miner and would like to help test our yescrypt merged mining implementation, please send me a PM for stratum connection details.

Confirmed this is a virus. Theres a lot of shit it sneaks by. Attacks SVCHost and got by my avast detection. I even ran it on virus total.com and it came up clean.

If infected, I suggest formatting. Use a program to wipe the disk and master boot records first. I suggest Killdisk.com they have a bootable DOS system u can load on your USB key and completely wipe hd and rewrite all data with 0s

I don't know if this got in the boot sector and I'm not willing to try. This was my first wallet I dl'd and didn't run it in my VM. Thankfully all of my wallets are in cold storage on a linux box, so go fuck yourself dev.

Same story with all the other Trojans.
Half the people don't get them.
Mine this coin if you want.
I wouldn't.

That might be the wallet that the member shadow-runner uploaded.

Lolwhat? Check the MD5 sum of exe and compare to your original.

There was problem with mega confirmed by other users and I decided to upload wallet on different hosting.

Also, I don't have any svchost trojans, check your systems.
Proccess Monitor by Sysinternals does not shows activity of swapcoin-qt.exe in Run registry key.
Also, File Monitor does not shows any creation of svchost.exe

Next time I will not help. Fuck this.

help

This is not that file I uploaded.
This is very strange and tricky.

At launch we have wallet, but source is 404. It's still 404 on github.
Then we have 404 by mega.
I'm, naive, decide to help others and upload original wallet I have downloaded frome mega, but not checked link at OP after that and went to sleep.

I don't know. Damage my rep by this shitty newbie clone coin? Seriously? Fuck this.
