["WAIT LIST"] BFL Singles Order Date / Ship Date

Looking at the list here, I wonder if BFL might finally catch up on orders. There were 86 ordered in May, 43 in June, 4 in July and 4 in August if my quick count is right. It looks like they're about 1/3rd of the way through the June orders, but assuming their actual order sheet has a similar distribution to the list in another month they might actually get all caught up.

No facts supporting this- I think they're using the pre order money from the asic orders to fill their current back logs. I don't think we're going to see asics through BFL for a while if at all.

I'm not sure on that, though it is possible. I wouldn't be surprised if they don't keep stock of the FPGAs and just wait until they have sufficient orders to justify buying another batch of FPGAs. We'll find out by the end of September if you can order one and have it shipped the next day or if there's still a 4 week delay.

Mine was shipped today 8/16/2012, ordered 6/18/2012 Lets hope they'll get better at the delivery dates when the asic's arrive because a delivery time of 2 month's is a bit long in my opinion. I will give an update when I receive my box.

This happened to me as well. If you refuse delivery and ship it back to them, they'll update your order to the asics.

I asked them to combine the orders since they were pretty close together to avoid the extra $33 shipping, so I assume the 06/12 order date was changed to 06/18.

Just ship it back with a note that it's broken.  As long as your within 6 months, they'll ship you back another one.  I had mine turned around within a week or two earlier this month.

e-mails take a little while for them to get back to.  If it's broken, get it in the mail.  There's not use in sitting around waiting for them to e-mail/call you.

I just got the shipping notification from BFL for the 2 singles ordered 6/25. I'll probably receive them 8/20 (56 days). They're finally beginning to catch up, slightly!

Like someone else I did not receive any email confirmation after ordering, but BFL responded to an email that they received the order and it was in the list.
