It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

This was one thing that Tim Draper is planning on doing (I am not sure about the specific countries, but the concept is the same) as he wants to expand the ability of people to buy bitcoin to places where it is difficult to purchase bitcoin.

I think this will expand the overall bitcoin use in these areas and hopefully merchant adoption.

This addresses the customer adoption piece that has clearly been trailing merchant adoption
This is great news but will take some time to translate into price gains
