A response has been given by both me and the PR and we are very sorry if you think that the support was in any way disrespectful.
Support is and will be ongoing from now on Smiley

Any response won't do. You haven't said nothing solid all along other than arguing/defending your point, and the PR guy completely avoided the subject altogether.

Or do you intend to say that :
You have decided NOT to compensate your player(s) - slacky741, in full nor in part, for the loss approximating 20-25BTC*, owing to the bug in your withdrawal system (and to the insufficient balance in your hot wallet) because you claim it is entirely his fault and none of yours?

*70BTC+ of other players not accounted for in this statement.

Some 9 pages thanks to your error... Almost 40 posts, most long and explanatory by him (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=335349;sa=showPosts), and that much in numbers from the other guy.
At least they spend more time on this than you did.

Oh, I forgot, a player's time is never important, right? Tongue

OP, I can't withdraw my money from SatoshiCircle website! I deposit 1 BTC, played one time, and then nothing happens when I click roll or withdraw, after that I tried to deposit more money, 0.12 BTC, and balance is not updated, but transaction has more than 10 confirmations!

I want to know if it is actually safe to play at satoshidice now? I heard some pretty weird info about blocked withdrawals and overall unresponsive and distant staff.
This site is still in the game? Or it would be better if I deposit somewhere else...

New owner make this thing happen with their bad support form but there is a lot of dice site to play with and they are not very mighty anymore. You can check dicesites.com that they are not as mighty as few years ago but still their volume weekly is still alot

When will PR be back?

Seems a lot of people agree you should be compensated.  Hope you are. Bitdice lost 150+ btc due to an error and the owner coughed up the money out of pocket.
If you are not prepared to own up to your mistakes you cannot be considered a serious gambling site.

I have a problem with a remaining balance in my account.

So, I opened up satoshidice and deposited 1/2 a bitcoin to the personal account ID # that they provide.  While the balance is being confirmed, which can take some time, my browser was reset and the cookies weren't saved.  From my end, the .5 bitcoin transaction went through and is currently sitting in the satoshidice account, but I don't have a clue how to get access to it.

Does anyone have a solution to this?  I've emailed support a few times but I'm not getting my hopes up.

I think there is some login link you should have saved to acces your account. The only way now is to wait for support to get u the link if you provide them proof of the deposit.

I still have all the information on the transaction like the satoshi wallet ID and the transaction ID.  Just waiting to get in contact with someone from the site and pass off the information so they can check.

Usually, if you have the address you deposited to, or the txid for that matter, it can be restored, usually in 24 hours. But with SatoshiDice, they sure can, but IMO you will probably have to wait quite very loong....

Dooglus while your here what is your opinion of my error? Do you think i deserve some kind of compensation at all due to what happened? I think i should at the least be being met half way considering there was an error on both mine and satoshi dice's parts. But i beleive my mistake was due to lack of support and the glitch making me panic in the first place. I think at the very least i should be made even from what i lost out of my original deposit, that way both myself AND satoshi dice walk away no worse or better off from the error that occurred.

I can take your honest answer but as a well known site owner yourself, your opinion on the matter would be really appreciated.

I really don't know what to tell you. I think I would offer you some compensation personally, but I don't think they would be wrong not to. At the end of the day you did make the bets voluntarily, but only in response to them providing you with incorrect information.

At least some part of your loss is the site's fault. If their code was working properly you would never have lost the coins you lost.

Thanks for your opinion, which i think is reasonable as there was some error on my part for not waiting long enough.

I think maybe asking for the full amount probably isnt reasonable so i guess i shouldnt be asking for that. I think they should at least be meeting me half way with reimbursement considering this error is on them. Especially due to the fact that i am STILL yet to receive a single email response or pm response or addressed directly on this forum by Satoshidice_PR. PR just gave everybody a general answer when my error was a unique one.

I think the support has been disgraceful and they should be doing something at the very least to make it up to me for all this. What happned to the daily support that handsoff said was going to happen from now on? Have not seen a damn thing done about that. Its obvious they are avoiding this situation as they know they are partly in the wrong and hoping i go away but this was a fairly big error.

I have been extremely fortunate with wins this past couple of weeks so at this point i dont even care that much about the money, im gratefull for what i have walked away with.

I am here out of principle and wont be going away as i beleive the site owners giving some sort of reimbursement for the error is the right thing to do, and i also want them to stop ignoring me and give me a direct response! It is so unprofressional!

A response has been given by both me and the PR and we are very sorry if you think that the support was in any way disrespectful.
Support is and will be ongoing from now on Smiley

If you read through SatoshiDice_PR's replies, there is not a single response directly to me regarding my unique withdrawal issue whatsoever. Your are the only one has addressed me personally so far. You also said SatoshiDice_PR is the only one who can make a decision regarding reimbursement so i will be waiting for them. I feel as if i should at least be made whole from this particular betting session, i deposited 20 bitcoins and managed to get back 13.91865035 from the whole ordeal. I should at the very least be reimbursed the 6.1btc. That way SatoshiDice AND myself both walk away even from the glitch that occured. No one loses - simple.

Hello, Slacky! Unfortunately, we cannot reimburse any kind of bets as it was not the bets that was malfunctioning, it was a temporary problem with the withdrawal function on the site. A bet that is wagered is a bet that is wagered. You don't get back funds that you lost (You could have won!)

We're very sorry for this and we're doing our best to make sure its not going to happen again. However, since you had to wait so long and had such a bad experience at our site, we have decided to give you a bonus of 6.1 BTC without any restrictions - again, this has nothing to do with the messages you have been writing about, this is simply a high roller bonus. We do give those once in a while to all high rollers. We hope you will not have a bad experience at satoshidice.com again.

Not even a winky-face? Are you seriously claiming that you just happened to give him a high roller bonus of exactly the amount he was asking for?

I can't help but feel this was handled badly.

maybe they were taking legal counsel and that's why it was taking so long for you to get an answer. that would also explain their formal answer, which tries to make sure they're not creating a leading case for the future.

yes, could have been handled better, but at least you got a little compensation  Smiley

@slacky741, congratz mate. All your trouble, days, lengthy posts, and your effort finally paid off. Smiley
You are break-even with SatoshiDice.

Glad that you have agreed to compensate a player, though with a different reason. Tongue

Either way, fix those bugs, sync their balances, top up the hot wallet, touch up your support and all is good. Cheesy
