damn we had the bot running scared with his coins with some relentless buy pressure before bittrex froze the frikkin market. so we have a network weight problem? i think the dev knows how to handle this so it should be sorted within 24hrs. have a chat with vrc devs if ur stumped.  Kiss

Hey guys, just a fun little experiment we're doing called OPALTOKEN.

To get the opal community familiar with NXT and Supernet, we're creating a token on the nxt asset exchange called OPALTKN.

This token is free (faucet: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1XnrJrocJbeqJX3h_dyJBjEWkzlt7lnUsFuIJiMltbx8/viewform) but may gain value if people want it to.  The distribution is as follows:

15m Coins

50% in initial distribution
25% tipped in bountys and prizes and other distributions
25% for the Opal Team

This is just for fun, and we hope you guys like it.

https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1XnrJrocJbeqJX3h_dyJBjEWkzlt7lnUsFuIJiMltbx8/viewform
"OpalTKN represents a holding in the future earnings of opal products. Learn more at http://www.opal-coin.com"

The description doesn't sound like the asset if for fun.

I agree. Why is there another coin (ok we will call it a token)? How does this increase familiarity on the nxt asset exchange? please advise.

Hi Guys, I just wanted to post an update.

Upon Richie's post, I took a look into the situation, and discovered that indeed, there is an issue with our blockchain, likely from an attacker (but also a misbehaving client) which is causing some issues.

I'm assembling a team of some of the top cryptocurrency developers to help with this issue.

The folks at the NXT forum seem to think this is a real asset. Can someone please clarify?

ANNOUNCEMENT
MANDATORY WALLET UPDATE

You will notice a new tab in the wallet, which is the "Enter SuperNET" button.  This will basically allow you to enter the SuperNET wallet (which must be running) from SuperNET.org, directly from your wallet.
This is not the giant SuperNET integration, but rather a small hint at what is to come.

For now: "Enter SuperNET" only works if you're running SuperNET wallet from SuperNET.org

Added automatic checkpoints as well.

Once again, this update is mandatory.

DOWNLOAD FROM www.OPAL-COIN.com only

Kind Regards,

OpalTeam

A few questions:

1. I'm assuming the github still allows you to compile the wallet from source and run it on Linux, correct?

2. Does this wallet release fix the blockchain reorg issue? Has it been already tested on a testnet?

3. Since we're tied in with NXT through SuperNET, does that mean we're going to be running java wallets, or will it remain a C++ wallet?

Ok, thanks DeckardKain,

As i am new with POS:
Get our coin off the exchange mean put your coin in your new wallet which mean stake them.
(i dont need to do something special, like sending opals to another adress of my wallet ?).

You need to have them in your wallet for 24 hours then you will be able to stake them
