Hi all
I've been reading about bitcoin for some time, maybe a year.
And I wonder if International Money Transfers were possible and easier with the use of bitcoins.
Here in my country there are some of these "stores" popping up. If we built a network with some people in every country and used bitcoins as a intermediary, we could have a good offer.

If there's a talk somewere about this already please redirect Wink
Thanks

Yes, international money transfers is one of the best uses of Bitcoin. So far, however, there has not been a serious professional team to step up and make this happen in any organized way.

You don't need to set up agents "in every country" at once. Just start with one very good market... maybe a branch in San Diego and a branch in Mexico City. Then open more branches where profitable.

I think the remittance market will be huge for bitcoin in the future. There is no reason why you can't use it now. One could send BTC home and spend it from there, or sell it for local currency.  You don't need an intermediary to send money to a trusted family member, for example.
