Hello, Iv got a fairly new Powercolor 6950 2GB that I bought off of Newegg 2-3 months ago. I'm gauging to see if anyone would be interested in buying it, as I may be upgrading fairly soon. It came with a 2 year warranty, so it should have about 1.75 years of warranty left on it. Here's the link with full details  http://powercolor.com/us/products_features.asp?id=313. If anyone is interested, pm me or leave a reply, and if there is any interest in it, I'll post pics, find receipt, etc.

How much?
Also, since you're relatively new would you accept escrow?

Best of luck with selling your card, just figured I would get the expected questions out of the way.

Yes Id be happy to use Escrow, and I believe I am looking for around $230 in BTC for it, I can probably cover the shipping costs as long as its within the country (US). And I'll post up some Pics ASAP, I lent my friend my camera, but I should have it back tomorrow.

Just as a heads up, the new 7850 is at least as powerful as your 6950, plus it has the "it's newer. It's shinier" factor going for it, so keep that in mind for gauging price.

Yes, but some people still prefer the 6950s, and since the discontinuation of their sales, I have seen their prices reach $250, and even $300 for the more expensive models on Ebay. If you just google the price of them, this comes up

http://tinyurl.com/6ntwv76 (sorry the google link was too long, and wouldn't open)

So I feel my price is fair. I was going to sell it on Ebay, but Id rather have Bitcoins at this point, but if no one is interested, I'll just sell it on Ebay.

Edit* I also forgot to take into account, that with the 6950, you can simply flash the bios and the card is now a 6970, with the newer boards, you can't do this.

I told him the exact same thing. Then I pointed out how many 6950's have sold prices of between 170-180 on fleabay. Crazyblane has 2x6970's for $250 each here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=78423.0

And... apparently I'm just an idiot, as the xfx double d's are selling for 230 shipped after MIR at newegg. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814150549

it's going to be 200 with a possible volume discount and dirt coupons that you can probably sell for a little.  That'll make them sub 200 NEW with warranty.

I still feel $215 is a fair price, seeing as after paying $10 shipping (included) I will be selling for $205. All of them for sale on Ebay as of the last few weeks have been selling in the $220 range or so. All of the buy it nows are set at $250, and most of the bids are around $200. A few are $20 or so under 200, but with a day left to bid. If it doesn't sell for $215, I just wont sell it, I'm not forcing anyone to buy.

Snow, your link is one for sale, that the person is selling cheap, same site, guy is selling for more than me. I can include my Dirt coupon with the card, it goes for about $2 I believe.

Thats odd, Newegg only has two 6950s for sale, and they are $250/$260 each

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814102987

Feel free to go onto newegg and search for 6950s.

Edit* I don't know why I keep saying $215, I was asking 42 BTC for it ($210 or $200 + Shipping)

Out of curiosity, what would people consider reasonable for an early 6950 (with the bios switch) running a 6970 bios?
Got a couple that I'm about to sell off to help pay my credit card bill  Cheesy

Just got £165 ($266) on ebay.
Fees to pay, but still, somebody's generous/mad.
(Actually, since I didn't have to pay VAT when I bought the card that's more than I paid for it new  Grin )
