Can you please be more specific on which site you are talking please mention it clearly.Is bter.com? since there are many domains and also this is not the appropriate thread on this topic i believe. If you are transfering a bitcoin to your wallet or withdrawing from the site and theres no status seeing on your wallet then it would really be a scam.

i think yes it is. a year ago i try to cancel my etc but nothing happens. also i submit a request to check what's the matter with the site can they resolve the
issues. but i get no response from there

Did you double checked if you sent the coins to bters address correcty? Maybe you sent it to another address. If you sent it to the correct address try refreshing your account. If none yet appeared, contact their support. Afaik bter is a known exchange site. I haven't used it but many people do so I don't think they are a scam.

Its possible that the accidentally send it on another address because as far as i know bters arent a scam exchange but regarding on the transfer its quiet long already and the suggested move would contacting their support same as you said but as op said he havent recieved any replies yet but dont give up just keep on sending them support tickets.

I have some friends who also use bter.com, some of them said bter is a scam, but some others said it is legit. I have traded there for 1 year, I don't find the problem. But bter had twice big hack cases, one was more than 10 million NXT hack, the other was thousands of bitcoin hack. It is insecure exchange, after that I never trade there.

Glad to hear that it did already solved this issue its better to lock this thread mate so that no one would able to reply and say the same thing again and again.
Bter,com isnt scam at all and we should consider that mistakes do really happen sometimes.

Double checked the address where you sent your deposit maybe you just sent it to the wrong address and if you're sent to the correct bitcoin address try to open a ticket and contact their support for the fast assistance, This is the basics step that you need to do when you've encounter this kind of problem but since you already solved up your problem you better lock the thread now anyway good luck to you.

i didn't even think bter.com is still functioning
they stole 7700BTC (if i am not mistaken) and called it a hack, and they never gave their users amount that was stolen. i lost bitcoin there and they just gave a btc_t (or something the same name) which you couldn't touch.

if you look at the volume, and also the price of bitcoin which is $100 there you can realize they are dead.

Sometimes mistakes happen and it is no one’s fault but that exchange site does not seem to get the best reviews so it is a good thing you immediately withdraw your money from such exchange next time look for reviews here in the forum about the best exchangers.

I will need to tread gently here, transfer of BTC to exchange is no as direct has sending to your personal address. I don't like soiling another person's brand unless there is a proof that this act is done intentionally and not accidental
