I think its because most of the info is there if you dig deep enough, but certain threads, like the price tracking one, are so deep, 8000+ pages, I'd rather read war and peace than get bogged down in that!

I mostly look at the Marketplace section, here can you buy/sell nice items for bitcoins.
Remember to ALWAYS use escrow.
