Unlike traditional banking where clients have only a few account numbers, with Bitcoin people can create an unlimited number of accounts (addresses). This can be used to easily track payments, and it improves anonymity.

maybe it's because of the rig i tried to rent. i lost 0.003 with the rental. i thought it would be profitable to mine digital coin.

New site to feature Digitalcoin. This looks like it'll be more than your average faucet.

Honestly, I'm out of ideas at this moment. I think many altcoins are facing similiar problems currently, and that's probably also a cause. Way too many altcoins are represented in relation to the interest & dollars that are spend on these coins.

- -

A huge rise in value of the BTC will probably attract more people into altcoins too, we saw a similiar pattern earlier when the price of BTC was reaching its ATH; people thought the BTC became too expensive for them (to buy a "whole one" ^^) and started buying for example Litecoins too.

{Curently quite inactive as I'm really busy in my private life. I will get back soon!}

-> Your line here during my inactivity? Feel free to PM <-

The low price is sad, yeah, but look at the last 1,5 years price chart at FTC, LTC, WDC, BQC and some others who launched in 2013(or before) like DGC. Every coins made a same price chart pattern.
The BTC price felt in the last year like in 2012. Much less money flowing to cryptocurrency market, so they spend much less to alts, it's normal.
You should think about this like an opportunity. BTC will halving in 2016 Q2/Q3 and the falling will stop shortly i think.(within months)

DGC will survive until that, so collect now and laughing at the newcomers who will buy 100 times higher price. Wink

Never mine coins like that if they are targeted by profit-changing multipools. You look 1 second and see diffuculty is low, than other second high as hell. Friendly advice. Tongue

I like to start solo mining with ANTMINER BITMAIN S 5 .POOLS connect well and are alive however ,with this speed I should get much more coins then only 500 for two and half day minning and my miner was at pool at first place for several hours and my miner was biggest share contributor for many hours.. Well, I can be happy to know why my miner didn't let me start solo mining .Somebody said  from other message board that
is almost impossible  solo minig with newest ANTMINER BITMAIN S5 because  miner is set up from factory to default stratum connection.But I know that some guys doing solo mining usingAntminer for altcoins SHA256.
I'm trying and trying set up in so many ways  check out firewall,virus protection, ip,open ports,wallet is sync working great .Got to be wrong  solo conf .for ANTYMINER  .Nothing help.I'm miner for looooooong time .I'm doing also solo mining other coins with  graphic cards  using my rigs and I don't have any problem to set up GPU ( graphic cards ) for solo mining.But I can't resolve  solo configuration for ANTMINER ..geez. so stressful.

Your solo URL should be 127.0.0.1:7998

Try that and let us know.
