i just wanted to leave a little feedback for the op...site is cool, cant wait til you add more games  Tongue i just want to point out that you should make a way to choose what withdraw address you want to send to once you make an account with fastslots, correct me if im wrong but as of now withdraws go back to the deposit address, i would like to be able to choose which address i want my cashout to go to in my oppinion..all in all sites games are pretty cool! keep up the good work!  Grin

Yeah I'd like to be able to choose too, but I feel like this isn't a HUGE deal. You should make it known though that if you deposit you need to have access to the address+private key of the address where the BTC came from.

Just make that super clear, but if you have the time to change it that would be cool too Smiley

Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

Hi guys,

It's great that you are bringing up these points right now. We are currently in the process of rewriting the authentication and deposit system. Thus any feedback you will give us now can be incorporated over the coming days.

Here are the main changes that we want to implement:

1) It will be possible to deposit if the balance is bigger than zero (not possible atm)
2) It will be possible to withdraw only a part of the balance (not possible atm)
3) There will be no more free credits. Instead there will be a faucet where a user gets ca 500 satoshi whenever the balance is close to zero.

The reason we are always paying withdraws to the address the user deposited from is for security reasons. Consider the case where the attacker somehow gets access to your account (for example by looking over your sholder, getting access to a pwd manager you might use). If the user cannot specify an address for the withdraw, the attacker can basically only withdraw back to the legitimate user.

I will think about weakening this restriction though if that is important to users. Would be rad if people could weigh in here. Would also be awesome if you could let me know which sites have the best payment mechanisms in your opinion so I could go there for inspiration.

Thanks for your feedback anyways :-)

In regards to the idea of stepping down the security on the withdraw address locking I had this idea:

When signing up you could make it (compulsory or optional) to add a 2step like phrase in which you choose a phrase (that cannot be your password) to change certain things on your account, like changing the withdrawal address, this would give a good layer of security but at the same time giving the user an easy way to change their withdrawal address.

What do you think?

That sounds like a good idea, thanks. I will definitely do that if I decide to allow a user to specify an withdraw address. However, I am still worried that an attacker might be able to obtain the phrase and be able to steal a users money.

I will now do a quick survey and see how other casinos handle this issue. Will report back. I you computerman123 or someone else can recommend a casino with a good payment mechanism, please let me know.

Alright,

You could also make it so that if a user has added an email to their account they will have to login to their email (hopefully people dont use the same password for every site) and click a confirmation link to be able to withdraw to the address they specified and enter the pass phrase that they created upon signing up.

It's really a great point you brought up. As far as I can see most other casinos allow users to specify a receive address, even without retyping their password or something. I think I will follow your advice and allow users to withdraw to an address of their choosing. Will have to make up my mind about the details...

Please let me know if something else you would like to change with our payment system, or with FastSlots in general. I'll try to make it happen :-)

I still think this is fun and more people should give it a try. They're a small team of staff so you have to keep that in mind (last time I checked). but if more people tried them out and they became more popular, they could hire more people Cheesy so everyone give them a try, at the very least!

I really enjoy the games. Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

The games that they have are really fun and the team is also really nice! I really like the double or nothing game and the new "high-dice" is really fun also.

Hey guys! Thanks a lot for your comments.

I absolutely agree with Jaaawsh that more people should try out FastSlots :-). I think we are bringing something new to the gambling world. I also think that there are too many copycats in the gambling industry and too few operators that are taking risks (which is ironic given that they expect their customers to take risks all the time).

That being said, we are actually growing quite quickly. New users are signing up every day and revenue is up and to the right. This is despite the fact that we are probably the only casino in the world that has spent 0 satoshis on marketing so far.

The reason we have not done advertising so far is that we'd rather have our players win money than spend it on advertising. Our dream is to get FastSlots to a level of where it starts to grows organically. If we get there we could offer a lower house edge than any other casino because we do not have to pay for advertising. A low hose edge is really super important because players have a much more fair chance at winning.

(However, theory aside, we will start a signature campaign quite soon as we cannot change realities - yet).

To get to organic growth we need your help. Let us know what you don't like on FastSlots. Tell us what we would have to change so that you'd be happy to recommend FastSlots to a friend. Which features do we need to add and what do we need to remove? We will listen very carefully, and do our best to build a casino where you like to play. And, we'll continue to give out bonuses for feedback :-)

Well, the house edge on bonus dice is 1.2-2%. It's not quite the highest house edge ever (for example roulette is 2.5-5%, slot machines are often up to 10%). But to be fair, bonus-dice has the highest house edge of all of our games. For example, our other dice game slide dice has an house edge of 1%, and the house edge of chart bet is only 0.2%!

Unfortunately we are not yet in a position to offer a much lower edge. Until we get there I think it's important that we are really upfront with the house edge of our games: We state the house edge of each game on the homepage and at the bottom of the page of each game.

Hey guys.

Just wanted to give a quick update as to what we have been up to at FastSlots. We are still working on the new payment system. It is taking longer than expected, mostly because we have to change some security sensitive parts of our code. We want to take the time to make sure we do not mess it up :-). I think the new system will be worth the wait.

I have also taken the feedback of many of you to heart that we have to start to get out there more. I am now quite active on Twitter where I am not only posting about product updates but also about what I think are interesting developments in the bitcoin space. Follow me at @fastslots.

We will also be launching a signature campaign and a Facebook page pretty soon. Will let you know...

Can't wait for the update.  Wink

It is good news to me, since essentially my strategy is to cash out part of my winnings when I make a good profit and is still on green. Cheesy

Awesome, ndhc, you'll be able to do exactly that :-)

Other than that the deposit flow will be much more stable and we'll finally have a faucet.

I just deposited, played a few games and withdrew to my wallet with a profit of 0.09BTC. Great! Cheesy

I am ending up creating different accounts everytime. Since my email is already taken with a password I forgot and gets an error to try again a bit later.
Adding a 'Forgot Password?' would help. Wink

Awesome, congrats on your win! :-)

Sorry that you have to create a new account each time. I'll sort that out manually and be in touch by pm.

We have a better user management on our roadmap, but before we do that we want to finish up the payment stuff and launch a new game. Until then I'll just be sorting out people manually. Please let me know whenever you have a problem.

They're suuuuuuuperrrrr fast at fixing stuff. I often send emails and get a reply within ten minutes, and then a fix soon after. Sometimes with little stuff, they get back almost instantly. It's SCARY FAST hahaha.
