As the title says I'm looking to buy anywhere from 0.5 to 1 BTC depending on the price. I prefer to send with paypal but payments methods can be negotiated. Escrow required if not trusted seller.

I'm open to any payment option that I can use my card with. For example gift cards, Amazon Payment (much safer than paypal), Google Wallet. I could also purchase MoneyPak, Vanilla, Reloadit from the forums and exchange that way.

"reverse it easily". Unfortunately you and I are in the same boat as we both have to start working on our feedback. In any case, it's possible to issue a chargeback so that's why I'm willing to work with the sellers. I've so far purchased 50 USD earlier today from Cryptology.

Gave BetcoinPlayer a $100 Walmart gift card BUT still waiting on his payment of BTC. He told me the coins would be delivered 2 hours after work when he got home. It is now roughly 3 hours past when he was supposed to be home. EDIT: Got an update, he PM'ed me back saying, "I am waiting on the btc to be withdrawn from my poker account, it should arrive shortly, I will add addirtional on to it for taking some time."

UPDATE: Still haven't received my promised 0.25 BTC from BetcoinPlayer I think you got scammed. Also btc shouldnt take that long to confirm, meaning he should of gotten the balance his "poker" btc. It can be those rare times with a 1hr wait, but those are really rare these days esp the mining gone up to find the btc. Esp the guy is on a newbie account etc.

I see that you've had a bad experience attempting to purchase from an untrusted newbie and failing to use escrow on the transaction. I can certainly understand if you are no longer interested in purchasing given your frustrating experience, but I'm willing to sell 1 BTC for BitStamp+5%. You can pay with cash sent via USPS or you can send a USPS money order. While I have significant reputation and history on this forum, I'd still be happy to use trusted escrow for both our protection if you like. I'm willing to work with any of the top 8 escrow providers on this list: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=276897.0If you choose to use escrow, you'll have to pay the fees charged by the escrow provider (if any).
