Love that idea and look forward to following the discussion and plans Vancouver has to implement Bitcoin in their local economy.  We need someone who is going to represent the community and not their own interests like a typical politician.  Someone with some political knowledge but who isn't already tainted by bad politics would be our best bet, this is some positive news coming out of Vancouver IMO.  I hope other municipalities follow suit.
