Well, as i've mentioned here many times and on the calc itself, the data on the calc is still a work in progress for the more volatile diff coins like DRK & FTC... which is why I didn't cite it. As posted before, new DRK estimating was implemented Mon, so part of the week probably won't be good but waiting to see payout page to see how this new method performed.

Go look back on your own, from like Aug-Mid Sept VTC returns were very nice and DRK were terrible.

Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

Shares are a 1-year contract, there is a "TBD" maintenance fee that will happen at the end of the term... nothing is really known about it other than it might be 5%-20%ish.

I agree that the diff of DRK is pretty hard to track. No offense in my question at all, sorry if you do feel like this.

Is the 1 year based on the purchase date? If so, then would people that purchased the contract early on know what the fee will be before the people who recently came on board?

Payments take a while to go through right? I've selected to get my payment converted to shares and they remain the same

BTC used to be on the last priority of the payout cycle before "convert to shares" option was introduced, but you should be getting the shares in a few hours Smiley

As far as I know, no further info has been given on this... it's one of the things you'll just have to get used to with Chris... things come when they come...

So, aside from really bad data for DRK on Monday (which I went in and just edited) which looks like things were being double calculated... here's how the estimates look:

Coin - Estimated/Actual/Difference

LTC  0.01936/0.01924/~ +.0.6218%
FTC  2.74512/2.75732/~ -.0.4434%
VTC  4.67789/4.63828/~ +.0.8503%
DRK  0.11028/0.11149/~ -1.09120%

For me, this is close enough for government work and a crypto-estimate... aside from some very minor tweaks that I made that i'll probably revert back to on LTC... I think i'm calling the estimate portion of things done for now, unless there's some real big calculation error that pops up.

So, I think i'll move onto the ROI tracker-thingy now.

Was it an account related issue or just some general-type question? My experience has been (I think i posted in the "cons" list) is that if you have an account related issue and use the contact form off the website is the most effective way to get a reply.. aside from payout days, if you send it early enough i've pretty much always gotten a reply...

Now, if it's a general type of question, i.e. "What does X do?", "Can I pay through PayPal"?, etc... you probably won't get a reply or if you do it'll be much later...

That's just how it's always worked apparently...

Well you can look at last week's Farm Payment page on the site, or you can use my calc below... which has some pre-populated data choices from dropdowns... but note that the BTC estimates on the calc are made daily, while the BTC conversion price seems to be set on payday, so while the per-coin estimates are pretty good, the BTC estimates can vary a bit... something i'll work on.

Ok, then do You have any idea why have I received 0.326xx BTC for one day (LTC mining)? Is it some mistake from ltcgear? It's not like I am against it  Grin, but...
