I guess 12 months is too long. No one would know if you are still active at that time. And let alone it is payed upfront. And most projects that promoting on sigs only last for few months. I think some would rent for 1 month maximum.

I don't want to sell my account; I just hate finding a new campaign every time the last advertiser goes out of business.
This name means too much to me. (Not to mention my account on the bitcoin wiki (which has administrator privileges) goes by the same name, as do most of my accounts on bitcoin-related sites. Selling my account would be a disservice to everyone at bitcoin.it and myself.)

To be fair he's obviously not going to accept 1 dollar that is ridiculous.

There are a whole bunch of issues with 12 month advertising however, for example a lot of crypto companies don't even last 12 months here...
