I'm trying to get rid of my newbie status, but am mostly a lurker. I've probably stayed logged in for many hours, so I don't think that function of the newbie restriction is working.

Posting to get my count to 5.

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

 Grin LOL  Grin

Well, I want to loose my new-be status as well. However, I am more shy than you guys. I got really amused by your opennes. Actually is it all right with forum rules, to make such technical (as opposed to material) posts?
