Hi! I am interested in mining using Bitminter. I would like to ask last month I have used Bitminter then I stop mining for 3 weeks and opened again and I did not found my previous mined BTC? I would like to ask also if I could use video card lower than GT1070? Thank you.

Any suggestion other than Chinese Antminers?
I'd definitely refuse those because there was already countable speculations that they had untrustworthy firmware codes.
Finding a miner not Made in China is like finding a brand new miner... they don't really exist. What you can do is purchase a Made in China miner that has been refurbished in the United States by a reputable retailer who will have installed legit firmware on the machine. It will surely be configured to point to the retailer's own mining pool out of the box, but then once it's on, just point it to Bitminter servers with your username and that's about as straight as you can shoot in the shady world of bitcoin mining. |

You can't mine bitcoin with a PC anymore. You need to buy a modern bitcoin ASIC miner (not the ancient USB-based ones). 1000 GH/s is now extremely slow - the fastest miner right now I believe does 16000 GH/s. What disappeared was not BTC, it was the session statistics showing how much work you did this session. If you log into the website you can see the work you have done over all time under "my account" -> "workers" in the website menu. Your balance in bitcoin you can see under "my account" -> "overview". You get paid when blocks are found. |

Good to see the hash rate of the pool up so high, almost 6000Th when I looked a second ago!
However made my excitement at regularly being in the Top 20 when I got my second miner very short-lived! :-D
Hope Cryptokeeper is wearing ear-muffs being surrounded by all those miners.

There is a (POSABLE) new miner out called Dragonmint miner. I saw it on Ebay for preorder and on Bitcointalk. It's supposed to hit 16TH. If it is legit it's great for mining and it's not Bitmain's. Launch date is March/April My advice is to wait and see before putting any money into a preorder.

I saw this back in November https://www.crypto-news.net/dragonmint-16t-miner-announced-and-available-for-pre-order/I cannot remember where but I also remember reading that they are $1595 each with a minimum order of 5. Any of us who have been around a long time will run a mile at the words 'Pre-Order' so I'll second your advice to wait until there is an actual product shipping. |

The site said it was sold out on orders. Somebody's going to be crying or jumping for joy. The resaleres are asking 5/6K for each on Ebay. If this is a real miner it's better to order from the manufacturer at a good price point and be covered by there warranty which looks good on there spec sheet. I can't afford there 5 unit order but an escrow for a group buy would be more to my affordability.

Guys:
I'm new here and wanted to get some feed back on how this site works verses Nicehash.
I've been mining my two computer GPU's on this site with averages of 11MHPS on one and 30MHPS on the other.
I've been mining almost 3 weeks and only received 0.00000005 to date.
I've been mining my CPU at only 150kh at nice hash for two days and received 0.00007110
What am i doing wrong at Bitminter to receive so little vs the small hash rate at Nicehash?

There are some altcoins you can still mine with a PC. Some services let you mine altcoins and get paid in bitcoin. At Bitminter we only support bitcoin mining (with merged mining of namecoin). Maybe we'll support other coins in the future. |

That's because you're not actually mining bitcoin with that CPU. If you mine bitcoin with a CPU you earn nothing. |

the only usb asic stick with a modern chip is designed to mine LTC not BTC There is no small quiet BTC miner with a modern chip. A modified s-9 using 1 board vs 3 boards can be made if you have an old firmware model this uses about 385 watts to hash 3550gh  |

Does anyone know why Bitminter is showing the difficulty and at approx 1,913,000,000,000 but Bitcoin wisdom is showing it at approx 1,590,000,000,000 and scheduled to go down? They normally match.

Does anyone know why Bitminter is showing the difficulty and at approx 1,913,000,000,000 but Bitcoin wisdom is showing it at approx 1,590,000,000,000 and scheduled to go down? They normally match.
Bitcoin Wisdom is also showing 11 days to adjust when it should be 10 hours or so. Looks like it is not updating. from btc.com looks like we will be going up about 15% to 2.2T unless block generation goes down in thenext 10 hours. |
