I'm not sure how familiar you are with the pencil mod but you can mod these in either direction, undervolt or overvolt. The idea of undervolting (what i've done) is to lower you hashing power and your power consumption at the same time. The way the S1's work as you lower both the power consumption lowers faster than your hashing power so you can increase your hash per watt. So far everything is working fine. What you loose is overall hashing power, you gain in efficiency. I think I might actually be throwing less errors (as a percentage of hash) than I did before the mod. Either way I've always had a really low amount of errors.
The nice thing abotu the pencil mod is that its really easy to un-do so when (not if) the price of BTCs goes back up sufficiently high enough I can un-do the pencil mod and overclock these back up for full raw hashing power.

Mine is all rental set to top out at 300thash.
Even with this rental I'm still ahead on the last 3 blocks. 1 BTC got me 2.4 btc return so I dumped another 1 BTC to see what happens.
It really is the lotto though. worst case I'm ahead .4 btc :-)
My rigs are all still rented so this is a good test to see what I can earn without them...
I"m not sure about netdomain if his are rental or a farm. If he owns a farm then we will hopefully be seeing him long term.
Lets hope for blocks. These shifts are getting real short ...

Mine went from 400w/200gh to 180w/140gh Actually quite a bit more efficient. HW errors on all units under 1% (well under for most) You may have to "re-do" it a little after a couple of days once the lead cures, but mine have been stable for about a month now |

The actual earnings aren't known until a shift stops receiving payments. DrHaribo made the right choice (one I might copy for my pool) by simply showing a '?', to avoid people complaining about the earnings on recent shifts before they've matured. |

That's where it is. There is one payout per block found. But I think pay per work done is more useful, which you find on the shifts page, is better than pay per block. |

That's where it is. There is one payout per block found. But I think pay per work done is more useful, which you find on the shifts page, is better than pay per block. Right but I can only see that in the transaction once it auto pays me. Like right now we have 3 blocks confirming but I can't see what I earned for each anywhere until they confirm and then auto pay. I know you think I'm crazy already... but I like to have all my number ;-) Fahlcor |
