I like and use both but I prefer Skype for business related matter. For gaming and such, I'd prefer teamspeak  |

And how exactly Team Speak is hard to use? Install it, join server, join room, talk with anyone you want. And you do not have to register anywhere, tell them your email, password - anything. |

Can't vote apparently but Skype is better imho, there are tons of people already using it and having an account and has plenty of features. not that TeamSpeak is bad or anything but everyone has different priorities while using a service like this.

Depends what you're using it for. Skype is more for general stuff, whereas TeamSpeak is mainly for gaming.

SKYPE is my personal favorite.
Skype allows these registered users to communicate through both instant messaging and voice chat and it is better than TeamSpeak.

Skype, most people already have it and although the privacy concerns it remains with the highest user base which is important (if you don't want the other person you want to talk to specifically make a new account to talk with you)

okay we all here know why skype is popular and it deals with no clothes and gf's and bf's...
But they both have a plus side is you go and turn off skype ad's it uses wayyyyy less processes.
But team speak?
Its good for large group convos and encrypted rooms.
