Ah, yes...serendipity...

Nice to wake up to three blocks...although I had to check my mug to make sure it was coffee and not Glenlivet 18...

To infinity and beyond...on two 741s and one of only 3...nope, make that 4...full nodes in Hawaii...on <30A. (I have other gear on the Hoth ice planet)

Luckily I have full coverage because the guy driving the car that hit didn't speak any English and had none. Everyone is okay, thanks for asking.

Yikes!  Glad you're OK.   That brings up a point that my SO and I were discussing the other day.   I don't have any "local" friends that are into crypto so, in the event of my untimely demise, I want her to know how to access what I have (wallets, miners, etc.) but having it all on paper doesn't help her much.

Maybe I should give her my bitcointalk user/pass and have her reach out to this community.  Huh

Has anyone here thought about their crypto-heirs and how they'll deal with it all?

3 blocks today and still behind 100% luck! Mine on, lets get a 4th!

I have a .5% invalid rate, this seems pretty high, suggestions?

Also, your fully ramped up if the line is equal to your hashrate in the shift graft correct? Ive been offline 2/5 days but the red line shows 400TH/s even though I'm mining at 160TH/s (high TH/s due to a rental a while back) does this still mean I'm fully ramped up? Block reward was less then expected, hence the question.

Currently I have one S9(13.5) running on Kano and I have room for at least one more S9 by my calculations . (I briefly looked at the Dragonmint 16T but the extra cost for the power doesn't seem worth it to me)  I do wonder like most, if something will be released soon that would make me wish I waited a hair longer but I'm not a patient person Wink

I'm not the best with technical electrical conversions so please anyone if you are, let me know!

I had a dedicated 220 outlet (12 gauge wire) ran by an electrician and he added a 20amp breaker.  I think my current S9 is roughly 1400 watts which in turn translates to 7 amps.  He said the wire is good for up to 25amps so we could swap the breaker out if needed.  I'm pretty sure I can easily add at least one more miner to my stable for Kano.

I have 2 s9s running on a 20A 220.  I had three but the ammeter showed 19.4-20.4 amps.  The breaker never tripped but I moved one to a dedicated 110 20A where it draws 12.5 amps and the 220v is drawing around 14.  Try to keep it around 80% for safety margin, but Ya 2 would be no problem, 3 is pushin it, but doable.

Thanx BLOK, JIMMY, SIDEWINDER for the awesome hattrick!

LET'S GET A QUADRABLOCK!

The more efficient the power supply you use, the higher chance of you being able to run 3 on 220V 20A is.

Whats your opinion on the T1's. I have 20 of them coming in, I'm tempted  to sell all of them because I cant mine on Kano, and by selling I should be able to get 30-40 s9's (using coupons) which I can run on kano.

Yup. I manage a co-op mining op. The other participants understand BTC, so I don't have to tutor anything on that. I have a hardcopy notebook I keep in my safe with all passwords, URLs, home network map, etc. to literally keep my life moving if I'm not around. The others each have a way to get into the safe if something went south. I don't depend on any special hardware, wallets, keykeepers, etc. but rather good old paper and ink. Too much changes over time, people forget, and hardware fails. I guess that's the disaster response part of me talking.  Kiss

EDIT: And...in keeping with the basics...all of that runs on Core on Ubuntu 16.04LTS. I haven't used anyone else's "wallet" or "vault" since Mt. Gox.

Kano has said he will consider opening up the pool to T1 if he gets access to a unit to test.  Maybe before you sell you could volunteer.

Forget thee not that the Halong Dragon mint only works with pools supporting AB. So far only 2 pools support it and Kano is NOT one of them. (yet)
