Last time I checked the server was in North America. Are there any plans for a server in Asia?

(I would have done a search, but it's disabled.)

If you mean the SP20 winner, yeah I asked him before and he said they were shipping it to him but he doesn't seem to want to post an update ...
... and anyone looking at the web site, you probably noticed that I did the above mentioned CKDB restart
(they are now way faster than they used to be - this one took less than 5min total including the sync at the end)
and the blocks page now also shows the pool block count next to each block number.

Following on the success of the pool with the last competition, we are having another giveaway!

This time, Avalon will be supplying and shipping a miner to each of 2 winners with this new competition.
It will be an Avalon 4.1 Machine with a 4-pin-cable x1 and an AUX x1 (without a PSU) as shown in the pictures below:

Details about the Avalon4 can be found on the bitcoin wiki: https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Avalon4

The 2 winners will be the next 2 people who find a block, with a single mining account or mining address with between 400GHs and 50THs, between now and the 150th valid pool block - i.e. the next 36 valid blocks.
If there are less than 2 winners in the 400GHs to 50THs hash range to find a block by the 150th valid block, then instead, the last 1 or 2 people, in that hash range 400GHs to 50THs, who submits the last valid shares before valid block 150 is found, will be the winners.

If you find 2 blocks, you could win both of the prizes ... so pretending you are 2 different accounts wont be required Tongue

Now, just in case we do find any orphans in that time, the orphans will also count as winners, but orphans wont count towards the total blocks until we reach 150.

I've updated the CKDB code to display the block count on the web site, but that change wont go live until next time I restart CKDB.
Block 340240 = block # 114

I will post the winning details here on the forum in this topic and you will also need to contact me via forum PM or IRC, within 48 hours of my winning announcement, otherwise we'll move on to the next possible winner.

As before, the range is specific since I don't want 1,000 people mining with 10GHs joining just to win.
I'd prefer one person with 10THs Smiley

Also, again, ckolivas and I cannot win of course.

You will have to supply an address that Avalon can ship it to via EMS or DHL.
It doesn't have to be your own address, but it has to be possible for them to ship to your chosen address.
If you cannot do this, then the prize will be awarded to the next in line.

If you mine to an address, you'll need to sign a message with the winning address, to identify who is the contact to claim the prize.

If you don't want to supply contact details to ship it to, then the prize will be awarded to the next in line.

One last important thing - my decision on the winner is final.
If there is any confusion or misunderstanding about how the winner is chosen, I retain the right to choose who the winner is in the event of any disagreement.

Thank you for :

A) running a new contest.
B) starting at the 400gh point as it lets in owners of 1 s-3

I don't know what is worse. I'm transferring coin to rent hash, or that I'm checking in while at the bar with my wife.

lol!  Been there done that, I usually wait when she's in the restrooms!  ;-)

Renting hashpower to mine in the pool or solo?

mining in the pool for the 2 avalons is my guess.

I moved almost all my gear here .

That makes sense.  Nice to have a little incentive for the block finder.  Pool hashrate will jump for a little while and everyone will win from that.

yeah the payouts are as good or better then anyone else's and now you can win a  2.5th miner .  If you can toss a decent amount here it is worth it to do so.

I put 9 sp20's + 1 s-5 =  11 th  and I rented a little more 5th so I have 16th

Glad to see another competition, the pool is upto 5.2 PH right now.

I have 43 TH on the pool now, and just got my two S5's in the mail today, so I'll have them up and running soon.

I see a couple users on ckpoolmonitor.zachmonroe.com that are showing 0 hashrate, but they show hashrate on kano.is, is anyone having problems?

Good, have you tried the option for getting an email when we find a block? If so is it working, if so is there more info you would want in the email?

I checked block monitor.

I generated an api and put it in your  site.

my graph page is empty.

I have about 43th with philipma1957 right next to you on the charts.

I found an issue with my database/php, there is a user with so many workers that script that enters everything into the database crashes when processing his workers, so any user who signed up after him was not getting tracked. I have (temporarily) limited the number of users tracked to 25. Your total hashrate will still be tracked. When I have more time I will try to sort it out.
