MMM it works... How did I find out?

I'm actually quite happy about this app now.
Setup and forget! It will warn you if your hash rate drops below a threshold, and it will notify you if a block has been found.

Future Plans:

• I will try to get this to function for CK's solo pool.
•

A system reboot fixed whatever was going on, both back to 1.15TH/s average.

My S3+ did the same thing, something in the Bitmain internals probably.  I've even had the asics show -----o and shut it down for an hour and fired it back up to oooooo, so mysterious.

I was finally able to upload the update to the Android Play store tonight. You guys should see it rolling out to your devices/play store in a few hours from now.

This app has really helped my addiction of checking http://kano.is every few minutes to see if a block has been found. Now my phone will tell me if a block is found

The app can now handle api access. You will need an API key to use the "Block Found" notification feature.

I plan on adding a toggle for Kano or ck- pool endpoints. (Unfortunately that means I'll need to stop mining on Kano so I can actually test the features.)

My worker shows .269% invalid. What does this mean? (worker = mirahan)

Anticipated thanks. Just trying to learn. It seems I am very slow to catch on to all this. Trying to read as much as I can, but ugh.

that means 99.731 % are good  and .269% are rejects.  so if you have 1000gh

 997.31 gh are counted for earning power.


It is A very good number 0.000 % is best , but  anything  under 1% is pretty good

I checked on you you have 1.02th or 1020gh  same number different way to say it.

So you are more likely to really have 1023gh and that 3gh is lost in transport no big deal.

 At todays prices you are losing 20 cents a month about 2.40 usd a year.  Perfectly normal to lose that much.

Just to clarify on the absolute values
On the workers page the "Shares" "Diff" and "Block %" numbers are the total valid numbers (they don't include invalids)
The Invalid% is the % of all shares submitted including the invalid ones (of course)
i.e. Invalid/(Invalid+Shares) * 100%

Same is true of the Shares/Invalids at the top left of the web page.
Shares is the total diff of only the valid shares submitted to the pool
Total ShareDiff submitted to the pool = Shares + Invalids
The % next to Shares is the SharesDiff % of the block difficulty
The % next to Invalids is the InvalidsDiff % of Shares+Invalids

Thanks for the replies! I was making sure that it wasn't 27% and I was losing 1/4th of my hashing or something. I haven't gotten my first electricity bill yet and my wife and I have a joke/bet running that I will or will not profit. My rate is very cheap, don't know what it is exactlty off hand, but I remember before taxes it was 1.1 cents per kWH. She just thinks I am a nerd LOL.

At any rate we are having fun. My kids run to my office with me to look at the "Giga-Hasher" and see if we hit another block yet. To make it look better I switched my wallet to mBTC units, and we watch the number grow and then go talk smack to momma. 

I am on the road for business, and need to look at what my total cost per kWH is.

BTW - I am adding two more TH/s when I get back on Friday. I bought an S4 unit and it delivered yesterday. Just hope the PSU and fans are OK. Seller says they are, but we shall see. Price was excellent compared to three months ago.
