Seeing 3 ~400% blocks on the blocks page is indeed evil I wonder if there is some magic chant to stop that from happening ever again ... Seems I need to go back to making sacrifices to the Block Gods Well the shift name of this one and the last one were the same: Yuno Maybe she could help with making the sacrifices http://static.zerochan.net/Gasai.Yuno.full.1582590.jpg

Yup, I'm pretty sure she's well acquainted with making sacrifices

I like that 9.34% block after the bad one. We could use a few more of those!
It looks like my miners have been failing over to the solo pool a lot overnight, so I take it that the pool issue still hasn't been tracked down. Maybe I'll get lucky during one of the pool restarts.

Yes more logging and more info being looked at. As was nice - we found a block between two restarts, showing the expected result only that the short failover/failback time reduces the total hashes jsut when that ahppens, it doesn't stop the pool from finding blocks. Tomorrow I'll try something more drastic to see if hardware is involved in the problem. It wont be any worse than the current restarts every so often, but of course could be better.

Interesting, TheOneJester's little app notified me when we hit the 390% block, but I don't have a notification about the 9% block. Anyway, glad we finally knocked a couple down, let's keep those percents green! we found a block between two restarts, showing the expected result only that the short failover/failback time reduces the total hashes jsut when that ahppens, it doesn't stop the pool from finding blocks.
Good to have that confirmation despite the assurance that the pool "still works" despite the restarts.

This is why I keep on this pool (Unless my rigs are rented at higher rates). Sometimes the windfall makes for great earnings.

Lets keep things running and relax. The blocks will come. If you are not sleeping due to luck you may not have the nerves for mining.

I've switched things around a bit on the server. This is the first step (of 2) in trying to isolate if it is a hardware problem or software. Should have just shown up as a reconnect in cgminer and nothing obviously different from the miner's point of view.

Very interesting. I may point some has at this soon as I am currently back in "testing the waters mode". p2pool has been good to me and I've roi'd on 2 s1's but starting to see non-paying blocks. I'll be over shortly, have a beer waiting for me Well if I can update the S1/S2/S3 driver in a few days hopefully more of the S's will join too I don't understand ? I have had s1 s2 and s3 s here and they work fine. Why do you need a new driver? I still have s2s and s3s here.

you doing an ip range? or just selected ips? (just wondering if you're covering dynamic PIs, I've been on the wrong side of a stick when someone else has been banned off a site and my IP was in the same range)
You're unlikely to be hit unless you did something ... i was using a 3G connection at the time, so i probably was part of an IP pool from the isp, that the forum blanket banned.. there were thousands of users on that forum, a reset of connection fixed my issue, so it'll unlikely happen on the pool for dynamic ip range banning. i still find it funny that people are trying to find a hole to get into the server via the api/front end ...
