Kano, can the pool benefit from confirming its own payouts and also can it be controlled or forced to happened That's what I already do. I prioritise our payouts in our miner work so that any payouts not confirmed already should be in any blocks we find. i would hope that the you the operator would get some financial relief for the cost of sending the payouts just a thought i think a daily payout would help. well that depends on kano though. i'm sure there are more work to be done n refined for the pool & eventually it would be sorted out (payouts). that's why there are fees (0.9%) to relief the sending of payouts.

guys off topic question. Is it possible that pool operator, takes part of the hash and point to nicehash to again mine on the same pool? If its possible that will show double or that part hash and the pool owner takes the split?
yes its very possible.. there was a pool called bitcoinaffiliatnetwork.. he was accused of selling hash to rent.. the pool became very shady and nobody got paid for weeks.. i think it went offline with him owing 100s of bitcoin to people. Most were owned to himself as he was the largest miner on the pool especially toward the end, but some were ripped off and it's not like they did not have any warning. Even the ones that defended the pool, myself included, started warning miners to get out but some did not listen. yeps. lucky i bailed out early & nothing owed to me, well there are some small amount of altcoins but it's ok. back to topic, the block party continues here @ K pool.

hi everyone..I'm newbie in mining, but waiting for my s5 reaching this Saturday.. After a week of research I've decide to buy a s5 and join in ckpool.. But I've a couple of question.. Is it too little hash rate for joining ckpool with 1150g/s?.. So, I just have to keyin the stratum that listed below to get my s5 work? .. Im person with no fate with lucks, would it better for me joining other pool? Because I tried google how to point s5 to ckpool seems not getting any.. stratum+tcp://stratum81.kano.is:81 stratum+tcp://stratum443.kano.is:443 stratum+tcp://stratum8080.kano.is:8080 Appreciate if any answer helps.. Sorry for my broken English..

Sorry for my broken English.. A S5 is plenty fine. -Connect to the S5 -Click miner configuration -Add pool url ="stratum+tcp://stratum.kano.is:3333" -Worker = "YourUsername.WorkerName" -Password = "x" The complete instruction are all on Kano's main page; https://www.kano.is/

Pool settings The pool is configured to start you mining at 1042 difficulty. The pool adjusts the per instance difficulty to maintain an average share rate of approximately 3 shares per 10 seconds (18 shares per minute) However, there is a lower limit set on the difficulty of 42. If you mine with a username, you can login to the web interface and set a minimum difficulty for mining. If this value is below the pool calculated value, you'll get the pool calculated value. If you mine with a BTC address as your username, you can use the cgminer option --suggest-diff to set it for each cgminer. You can, of course, also use --suggest-diff if you mine to a username.
What would setting S3+ difficulty look like with just an address? do I add it to worker or password? I'm sorry if it has been posted before I did make an effort to look for it, but there's so much to read through.

Go to https://www.kano.is, all the directions are right there, easy to read and follow what to do. To mine your S3+ to just and address, use the following in the miner config page: stratum+tcp://stratum.kano.is:3333 {your BTC address here}_{any worker name here} x You cannot configure difficulty if you only mine to an address and really there is no need, especially with just an S3+, the pool will adjust it for you.

Everything become so much simpler to use and more stats are available with a user name vs btc address.

But, concerning setting the diff...let the vardiff do that for you. It really is the best way. I am mining with 2xS3plus. Works fine. CapnBDL

After signing up with kano I can quickly and easily see the pool side hashrate under the workers->workers tab. Sometimes the miner side hashrate will show OK but the poolside will show a bit low. On my s7's I can detect if one hashboard is wonky that the miner side does not show. On the miner side I have seen a hashboard run at 20c when it should have been at 45c and the hashrate is fine. Nice thing is it is fixed with a reboot and not a power cycle.

Nice to see all these blocks. My retirement fund (the coffee can in the closet) is happy-happy.
Ubuntu just pushed an update for Bitcoin Core...Bitcoin Core version v0.12.0.0-g188ca9c (64-bit). Seems to be fine when restarted. If anyone's got comments on that, you can maybe PM me to save space here. Just don't want any blindsides.
