Bit more pool hash rate today getting us more blocks. Aren't we running around the "sweet spot" right now. Always seem to smash them out at around 35 ish. A good day so far.
I don't think it matters what our levels are when we hit luck streaks... On 11/08 we got 6 with an average of 31.80PH On 10/25 we got 6 with an average of 26.81PH On 11/08 we got 6 with an average of 31.80PH On 09/16 we got 7 with an average of 41.53PH On 09/04 we got 6 with an average of 42.27PH On 09/01 we got 6 with an average of 39.82PH On 04/13 we got 11 with an average of 32.42PH!On 01/11 we got 5 with an average of 23.33PH It's all relative!

6 blocks today!! Woo hoo!! Great day! (And I fixed a fence, raked the leaves, and patched a leak on the roof. I think I deserve two fingers of some nice Balvenie DoubleWood scotch to top off the day ) Mine on!

Sorry if this was asked before but when a thread has 1049 pages, doing your homework can be a bit tiresome. I even googled it and didn't find it. How long does it take for one's account to be registering in the CKPool? My Kano.is account is also just about 2.5 hours old now. I did everything that I understood it said, like creating a worker for each machine but I didn't seem to be getting any readings on pool interface, just in the text box area it said I was mining and getting shares and my hashrate. I am pointing my antminers to http://stratum.kano.is:3333, using btc addresses with _worker1, _worker2 I didn't register anything else on the pool interface, usual sign-up log in procedures. There appears to be an issue with the iphone application at the moment: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1344360.msg16877188#msg16877188Sorry, I was reusing a post on the monitor thread. This is just about first time user hookup in an Antminer s3....it seems to be registering but not with the website interface and not with other apps like the CKPool Monitor. I've edited it to make it more appropriate. Also from the front page, if you want to see user stats when you only register with a BTC address and not a username: If you mine only with a bitcoin address you can view user and worker stats: e.g. http://www.kano.is/address.php?a=1KanoiBupPiZfkwqB7rfLXAzPnoTshAVmbhttp://www.kano.is/worker.php?a=1KanoiBupPiZfkwqB7rfLXAzPnoTshAVmb_workerRegistering a username will allow you to see more details on the web site. Maybe my problem yesterday was that I did both, I created a username, but didn't use that in my Antminer set-up. I used my BTC_workername. But that doesn't make sense, unless you really can't use your BTC name if you have an account username also set up. It's the way it works...if you want to see the greater detail of your workers on the web site, mine with your username_worker. If not, use your BTC address_worker and see your stats with links formatted like the links above. Totally your choice but if you do use your username_worker, make sure you put your BTC address in your account for receiving payouts. Welcome to Kano.is! I had to do some other things so stayed at another pool for a while. I am using the username method now but I don't see where on kano.is after I log in where I put my BTC address.

I don't believe in superstition because it's bad luck: 13thF1oor6CAwyzyxXPNnRvu3nhhYeqZdc These aren't the Droids you're looking for: S5 & S7 (Sold), R4B2, R4B4 (RIP), 2x S9 obsolete, 2xS15-28, S17-56, S17-70 Pushing a whopping 1/5 PH! Oh The SPEED!!!

And so, after a 6 block day, the pendulum of luck begins to swing back the other way...but still time to get a couple blocks before the day is done - mine on!

Good morning everyone.
I just have 1 quick question for Kano. I have thrown my little 10 th here and was working in all the shifts with the last 3 blocks that we popped, however, on the payments bar, it says I was paid, but no btc has come in as of yet, and all of the blocks are mature. Am I missing something ? I am LaBitCoinCenter on kano.is. Is there a certain time payment runs ?
Thank you, iEGServers/LaBitCoinCenter

Our last 4 blocks are in the payout queue waiting for the next block we hit to be confirmed. To maximize block earnings, Kano does zero fee payouts which means that the only way our transactions go through is when they are confirmed by our next pool block after the 101 confirms are finished.

I'm very much a newbie at CKPool and mining in general,
Is there any way to consolidate payments or do we always get paid for each individual block the pool mines? I've only got one Antminer S7 currently keeping my flat warm for winter. I signed up for CKPool and mined for a few days but when I look in my wallet there are (let's say) 20 payments from CKPool of about 1mBTC each rather than one payment of 20mBTC. I don't think it is going to be easy to spend all these individual mBTC, it would be like buying a used car with a sack full of pennies rather than with a couple of hundred dollar bills. Have I missed an obvious setting?

No, there isn't a way to consolidate the automatically. You could consider mining to an exchange that pays tx fees for you (ie Coinbase) and manually sending your mined funds to your normal wallet after you reach x BTC.

I had that exact same problem when I went to buy an S9. Had to send fro one address to another with a really high tx fee (0.01) and then from that address to the seller. Absolute PITA! But that's the problem with us smaller miners on kano. Not slating the pool in anyway, just sharing my experience On a positive note, once that big tx fee is done, all your small payments are consolidated...at least until more build up.

- You don't pay fees on incoming BTC
- Your analogy is off; it's like wanting a car, sticking your pennies in a bank, and buying the car when you have accumulated enough pennies to withdraw the needed amount as 1 lump sum

If you have to ask "why?", you wouldn`t understand my answer. Always be on the look out, because you never know when you'll be stalked by hit-men that eat nothing but cream cheese....

Actually when he decides to spend all his earnings as one large output he will be charged a high fee to consolidate all the inputs into one output. Basically it will be a higher sized transactions due to so many inputs

I'd much rather take each block's revenue and book it, and have it in my wallet on my hardware on my network, even if it is more work. But then, that's a "post-Gox" point of view, admittedly.

@Pondule: I don't know what wallet you're using; but if you go into preference and change mBTC to BTC, it my solve your problem. Just saying. Keep on keeping on. Mining that is.
