The Pallet option gets you a power supply as well as a miner. I have wondered if you could run three 741's on two power supplies of the 1600 watt variety. The pallet costs $49K.

1600w is 1600w whether at 110 or 220.  Since each unit uses ~1150w, that's one per psu. Sad

M

yep, the difference is the amperage which is higher at 110V
Once a transaction has 6 confirmations, it is extremely unlikely that an attacker without at least 50% of the network's computation power would be able to reverse it.

I just got my rewards back up to almost 0.01 and the pool hash goes up Smiley  Best start getting more 5 black days, Woot, WOOT!

Be nice if I could actually buy a miner but no one's selling them!

I have 8 S7's from my recent upgrade to s9's i'm ready to sell. no power supplies.

I'd be interested in buying one - send me a personal message if your interested? I'm based in the uk

Made you look!

I've asked Canaan about lead time from order/wire payment to shipping for the pallets and didn't even get an answer, so I'm not sure they're actually available at the moment.

I really suspect they oversold their stock.  They still haven't provided me with a way to pay for my orders from 8/31.

Just a blip from the ice mines at Hoth, I see shares coming in presently.  And indeed, if you're serious about your kanopool voodoo, chicken is the usual sacrament.

That's why after the Great Northeast Blackout in 2003 I got a whole-house natural gas fueled generator. We were out for 2 weeks and I said 'SCREW THIS!'

Do you use a propane gas generator to power your miners?  Or you just use it for the house?

Thanks. Things are very minor here where I am.
We just had some wind and rain with falling branches / trees bringing power lines down.

The only thing I lost was 21 hours of mining. My thoughts and prayers are with those who have lost everything.

Best wishes to all. I'm turning in for the night. Hope to wake up to a few blocks!  Cool

If you don't have natural gas yes propane works as well for them, being a permanent whole house genset it is all automatic. Power goes out, generator starts and within 30sec power is on until the utility power returns. If need be can run for 2 weeks at a stretch before needing oil and filter change. Only have 5.5kw of miners at home, mainly is just nice not EVER caring about power outages again...

They are not that expensive, in late 2003 got mine through Home Depot, 13kw with automatic transfer switch and including all installation/permits etc was around $9k.

As for my miners in the main farm at work , more recently we had a large outage about 2 years ago Cheesy
They are tied to power feeding the front offices and that is backed up by an automatic 50kw NG generator which kept them and a good part of our business running the whole couple days the area was blacked out Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

Block! by cobramining Smiley

Edit: yep as mentioned before, the blocks really aren't all that full lately, though that one was only 13.39BTC, it's the most in the last 10 blocks and it wasn't full either ... i.e. again, now's a good time to consolidate if you need to.
