Hallelujah the internet at home is finally back up after being out for just over 24hrs
This is where the 5n comes in very handy -- despite dropping about 100THs for 24hrs my N avg rate (what ya get paid for) only dropped to 287.85THs vs 298.73 before the outage.
Was weirdly quite during the outage... Gave me a good non-mining household power reference as well, meter read 0.683kWh consumption vs the usual 6.34kWh with the miners running. At least with DirecTV satellite and OTA TV still had the telly Wink

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

DE Node Update

I've replaced the DE node with another provider (AWSLS)
The old DE node is still running and anyone mining to it will continue to do so ... until ...

I'll force a failover of all the miners on the old DE node ~8 hours from now (23:00 UTC)
What this means is that any miners on the old DE node will simply failover from the old DE node to the new one.

If you connect or reconnect any time between now and then you will end up on the new node.

This only affects miners on DE, and will only be a failover if you are still connected to the old node at 23:00 UTC

Mine on! Smiley

hmm.. every 3~4 days i get 0.0013 btc for 1 single S9.

Can barely cover my electrical bill.

if this keeps up i think i gotta bail, man...
Hmm... Maybe this is a good model to scare the miners into giving us blocks.

Alright, here goes: If we don't get three or four blocks today, I might have to take my miners to the scrap heap...

[Waiting for triple/quadruple blocks to hit] Grin
Still not four yet... Scrap heap's waiting.

Hehe. Wink

[Shh! The miners are buying it.]

When Bitcoins hump on hump day, they make triplets.

I woke up, checked on my phone, oh block 3 minutes ago....  Nice.  I went to see the payout.. hmm... why is there three..  That was a good sleep I had!

Its funny becuase I am expecting 3 packages from Amazon today....
And fedex is supposed to pick up another one... Maybe we get 4 blocks today?

IF this proves true, I might end up with alot of useless amazon stuff that I will keep ordering.. YIKES!
