Whats the reasoning behind a dozen people posting block every time the pool hits one? Makes any real information hard to find and devalues this entire thread a fair bit. It reminds me of people clapping when the plane lands, its just supposed to happen that way.

If we get to a point where the pool averages more than a block a day it'll taper off Smiley

Plus Kano has infinite patience in re-posting information

Excitement, joy, gratitude..... things you may be lacking?

Seriously though, is it that bothersome? I'm fine with it. In fact, it's easier to miss a block if there's only one post. Usually I log in because my damn app isnt' working and I see multiple block posts and get a little excited. The multiple posts confirms it's legit and not someone's alarm going off.

So weeding through forum posts of repetitive things makes sense? It surely slows down productive conversation here and if you're looking to see if a block was hit b/c the app is failing, why not go directly to the pool website?

Let's be fair, I've seen posts asking questions which were literally answered on the same page before - it's a discussion thread, it grows - like the blockchain Smiley

Not every thread on every forum has to be for information only.  Go to a wiki for that.
Interaction is beautiful.  That is how families and communities operate and thrive.

A wiki sounds like a great idea, I bet someone will volunteer ...

Do you have a specific question?  The community here is infinitely helpful and WILL answer!  It's the main thing that sets this pool apart from the rest!

I can do that yes, but I usually log into here first because my login rarely works from my phone; for some reason it always fails login. So, when I log in it's nice to see we hit a block AND it's not being reported by just one guy who's app may have mistakenly reported erroneous information.

No, weeding through forum posts of repetitive things does not make sense. I never said that, but thanks for creating a new one with your post. All I'm saying is it's not that big of a deal and is not even close to the same thing as some of the repetitive posts. That is all.

Wait a second.....are you just irritated that you didn't call firsties on a block reporting?  Grin

Nothing happens until something moves.

Ever been a part of a community or any other social construct that thrives off everyone coming together and celebrating a common good?

That's kinda why.  We're human.  We have emotions.  We're social.

Not every thread on every forum has to be for information only.  Go to a wiki for that.

Interaction is beautiful.  That is how families and communities operate and thrive.
Hey, I always try to post first when we find a block also Cheesy
(since I do usually know about it before anyone else ...)
Maybe I should stand in the corner with my face to the wall for a while? Tongue

Every so often there are grumpy people posting ... I usually just let the posts go.
... as long as they're not outright abusive like a few certain other people that I've spent days deleting their posts Smiley

Good Friday Morning!! It's yet another gorgeous day on Kano. Is(land)! A great way to start off a long BTCig BTClock Weekend!

It is once again time to announce a winner!! We have a LOT of those on Kano. Is(land)!

After much ado, including a ritual involving a chicken and dancing, the winner of the second 1TH-4-5Nd giveaway is ... zkirsic!

Congratulations! K.P. PasstheHash is now mining for YOU on Kano Pool! You should already be seeing it, and I'll keep it up until for the next 5Nd!

I am so glad to finally get some assistance here in the sub-basement. Igor and Billy have both proven invaluable in dealing with the feral mice we use for power.

I feel particularly lucky to have found Igor. So, everyone, let me introduce Fritzssohn Igor, my assistant:
I have to tell you, I had a devil of a time getting him here from Überwald. It's been worth the effort, though. Not only does he help with power generation, but he appears to be adept at repairs. A most definite boon!

Ms. PtH was telling me today that she saw Scooby and Shaggy out in the van, cruising the island. Watch out! They have hash snax!

I normally wouldn't cut-and-run, but some stuff washed up on shore today. I'm going to take it down to the sub-basement and see what all there is here. Hopefully, there's rubber bands and mouse ration in there.

Keep up with this thread for moar developments!!!

K.P.

Good times indeed!!! Hahaha!!! It was in the midst of one of DP's bash sessions, I decided I was going to start volunteering my time
to Promote for Kano. For every action, there is a reaction. Although, I don't think it was the reaction ole DP was expecting!!! Ha!!!
