Hi @Kano. Can you provide a clear update on dust payouts? I know it in planning, but I've some news of new updates and would like to hear from you directly.
Last year, the block payments sent also included the dust balances for those accounts that were owed dust, and were over dust in the block reward.
This year I've begun the dust cleanup, with new payout generation code, and I've already sent out plenty of BTC.
These transactions are low fee, thus can take a while to confirm - since it's over $100 to send even at the minimum 1sat/byte I've used - when sending BTC to over 1000 people.
If the payout transactions are not confirmed before the next block we find after they're sent out, they'll confirm in our next block.
Some have already been confirmed, and those people have now got BTC worth anywhere from 2 to more than 10 times what it was, when they mined it
The Payments page will show any 'D' reference payments that are the balance payments for the 'dust' owed.
If the transaction isn't confirmed yet, it has a confirm of 0, and KDB will update that automatically when it's confirmed.
If course all these 'D' payments are for accounts with a balance above 'dust' = 10k sat.
Both the Rewards page and the Payments page now show all 3 of your: total Rewards, total Payments and Balance (owed) at the top.
I've got 4 more transactions to send, one of which I'll do shortly since another confirmed today.
Each time one confirms, I'll send out another, to avoid the next pool block being too full of these large, low fee transactions.
