A while back, one of my buyers of my 25 BTC coin attached it to a thick gold chain and wore it around his neck, and sent me a picture of it.  The same way rappers wear big diamond encrusted golden dollar signs.

Was thinking of selling some of my 25 BTC medallions in the same style, or perhaps to offer a good discount on them in bulk to someone else who wanted to do the same, offering it attached to a big thick gold-plated chain.  These medallions are almost 2 inches in diameter.

The black paint for the wording "25 BITCOINS" comes off the medallion with a little bit of Goof-Off.

Any interest?

Companies claiming they got hacked and lost your coins sounds like fraud so perfect it could be called fashionable.  I never believe them.  If I ever experience the misfortune of a real intrusion, I declare I have been honest about the way I have managed the keys in Casascius Coins.  I maintain no ability to recover or reproduce the keys, not even under limitless duress or total intrusion.  Remember that trusting strangers with your coins without any recourse is, as a matter of principle, not a best practice.  Don't keep coins online. Use paper or hardware wallets instead.

Dude, your a mind reader. I've got an in with BabyFace (Kenneth Edmonds), though no guarantees.
Bitcoin is in need of image awareness where an up and coming or existing artist could create some decent hype or buzz for the Bitcoin community.
Needed: 1 ounce Gold Bitcoin Round fashioned into an awesome necklace traded to the artist for their emphasizing it in photo shoots and outings.
Bitcoin Magazine could point out the fact that such and such star is into Bitcoin bling.

Maybe start a bounty goal to get this fashioned.

For Bitcoin to be a true global currency the value of BTC needs always to rise.
If BTC became the global currency & money supply = 100 Trillion then ⊅1.00 BTC = $4,761,904.76.

The only minor issue with that is that the real gold Casascius coin is much smaller than the 25BTC coin, it is only about 30mm in diameter, and being .999 fine gold, it's soft and easily scratched.  Would not make a good pendant.

I want a set of gold fronts for my teeth with a character from a mini private key on each tooth, aka grillwallet.   Grin

Then maybe a 18K ⊅25, or a totally custom piece.  Wink
