Why not. All coins have the same goal. They have just been lost in this silly war of needing to compete with each other in a small market share instead of stopping and going and getting the real big share thats waiting to be collected.

If all coins came together they could do amazing things.

It's just my input. I like to support new coins, but here's the thing: Instead of creating a lot of new ones, the new ideas should couple with already existing dev teams who really care about their coins (because you know, there exists a lot of PnD's some of them sadly still alive). Everybody like KGW, so it was implemented in a lot of coins. Now what do most seek is diversification. Something innovative. Ok, nutcoin's scheme is cool! Well, let's work in some further development, not a whole another thing completely separated (Unless it's screwed up). The total market is still small, though, so it's the precise time for coins to "explode", like we all are early adopters. I like the idea of all coins working together, but there are a lot of copypaste (that require a nice amount of work to do, if not coingened) ones which contribute to the crypto world only but blurring it (I'm not saying this is another CP, though).
And another nice thing would be to reward interested people with your own currency, not another's, unless it's some kind of an IPO...

Ursa is right, if you want to help cryptocurrencies, go support an existing one. The endless influx of new coins that offer nothing over old ones dilutes the marketplace and only muddies matters for anyone who isn't already interested in cryptocurrencies.

I'm kinda disappointed...

For a moment, I thought this was going to be a scrypt fork of Freicoin since the OP so badly wanted this coin to spread like Wildfire. Oh the missed expectations. I really think a scrypt coin with demurrage would actually be fun to deal with...

But no, it's just another clone with no game plan, will probably be flashmined, and frankly serves no true purpose...
