I could think of better ways to spend $999, but I'm dying to know how a GTX 690 hashes.  Anybody have one of them yet?

Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

680 has 110 at 1110 clock
then, 690 at default clock will be 181

It's not that slow... probably more like 200.

Pretty much like 2x GTX 680. It's close to it in boost clocks, only a few per cent slower.

In other words, it doesn't do very well.

Or in my words, epic fail for mining.  Tongue
