Wow this coin sure will be hard to mine. I'm not fussed about the premine. The thing is with 1 year PoW and block reward of only 10, price will need to be pretty high once the coin is on an exchange. Otherwise a lot of miners might be put off if they can't cover their costs for months. But I guess it's a gamble like any other. If it generates enough interest in the early stages, it could go really far. Anyways I'm gonna point my small miner at it and see how things go

Im not saying I agree, but that is what made me decide to not mine this one.  I dont mind a decent size premine, as long as its a fair PoW>PoS launch where the PoW lasts < a week so it rains coins..

Heh.. what I would like for value and reality is all to often miles apart. 
Don't get me wrong Dev, I don't mean to seem to be rushing you and I fully understand your motives and reasons and I applaud you for putting the coins future value above immediate gain. What it means for me though, and likely many other miners, is that I will only direct a very small portion of my hashrate to the coin and continue to hope for long term value, as I have already done. I like to see values rise like anyone else but value isn't really value if you can't do anything with it. Again though, I have patience. Keep coding value into my coins.

Let's forget about PoS issue for a while as people here have patience, that's good Currently there is wallet redesign going on, test win&mac versions available also POD is still in progress. Plans for upcomig weeks are to finish all details on website and forum to get ready to promote Cetuscoin widely. More far future plans are Android and IOS wallets and there are plans once PoW ends but that i will keep in secret for now. I'd like to hear from you what features you would like to be integrated in Cetuscoin, feel free to start topic on forum if you have questions or ideas.

Thanks. Now I know I can dump on C-Cex. I thought this coin was interesting and had potential but a silent dev team and only 19 pages on the main thread are not too reassuring, especially when I'm familiar with coins that are actually solid and going places.

This is dead, there is no way that the chain block moves, I guess that kept him active nodes were Blockexperts, but as unpaid property have off nodes.

POW phase ended on this coin 10/23/15 (it hit block 525,700).  POS phase has yet to start.  Since POW is done and POS isn't on, the chain cant move.

Noticed the dev last post was 3/7/15, so its safe to assume this coin is abandoned/dead. 

Found three working nodes for those that want to sync up to block 525,700, but for now it seems pointless to do that.

Im just a simple miner but that does seems like a solution. Seen a few coins get community takeovers that resulted in many aspects, including mining algo changes.

Probably be simpler if dev came out from under his rock to switch POS on then slither back under his rock

With all the competition among altcoins these days, any coin that's really a one man show should be avoided.
