Man, that's kind of crazy to see.

That must be the most mainstream publicity yet right? A non-internet publication, old school, on fringe, legit magazine. Nuts.

Haha, "Would you like to buy socks or psilocybin without being traced? Bitcoins are for you!".
I'd like psilocybin or any other tryptamine-based hallucinogenic but unfortunately my research-chemical shops do not support Bitcoins Sad

They're re-hosted on imgur, because imageshack is terrible.

"cypherpunks"Huh

Pleeeeeez.

This reporter ---- in typical reporter doublespeak ---- plays both sides....   He praises this highly acclaimed new technology... and bashes it at the same time...

This way he can't be accused of playing only one side....   He loves and hates... simultaneously.    Conveniently.   Smiley

Anyway, this is an enormous turning point for Bitcoin.     Since this article, Bitcoin has been mentioned on CNN, New York Times, and more...

NOW is the time.

Buy Now, Never Sell......  is what I do.    Smiley

I consider any article that doesn't question the security or viability of Bitcoin to be a positive one.  Any decent currency, by its very nature, will allow people freedom of choice in what to spend it on.  It's inevitable that reporters, being the fear mongers that most of them are, will seek out some "scare the children" angle.

The Bitcoin community owes Bruce and Gavin a major debt of gratitude for their efforts, and not just for the Forbes article obviously.

Cypherpunks gave us the internet as we know it. Satoshi is/was most definitely one of them.
