Hi,

just withdraw ETC from Kraken to a new installed jaxx wallet (first time use).
Yes, I checked that it is not ETH Adress.

The transaction also showing up on gastracker.io and also on myetherwallet.com if I import the private key from jaxx (and use Network Epool.io).

So what up here ?
Bitcoin addresses contain a checksum, so it is very unlikely that mistyping an address will cause you to lose money.

Sometimes there may be a connection error with the wallet. If you see your transaction on explorer and you own private keys, there is no problem.

Jaxx may be...problematic at times(when I tried the wallet they refused to show me any ETH balance so I needed to use myetherwallet), but if the transaction doesn't show up in the block explorer then it probably doesn't go through.

Or maybe you are using ETH block explorers.

Isn't myetherwallet only for ETH Huh

No, you can switch the network, it showed the balance if I open myetherwallet with the private key.
And look at this, seems ok? https://gastracker.io/addr/0xc9b418e550f92416aa68db384a051f4878e774b1

And yes, you can add different wallets to jaxx, thats why I wanted to use it, I own ETH & ETC, tried first to send the ETC to test if everything is OK.
Seems lke I have to use another wallet  Cry

Any suggestions for a wallet wich can hold both ETH and ETC ?

I just saw myetherwallet.com uses the same priv-key for both ETC & ETH as default.
So I think I will stick with this as it seems pretty comfortable and you can not get confused with 2 adresses.

Any concerns?

You may want to try Coinomi, I have no problems storing/transacting ETC on that wallet. It's great because they have built-in exchange too powered by shapeshift.
