can tube coupons be used for the prisma? if so probably in for 1 depending on final price
I've had no answer to this question yet

And I do have an answer now.  Yes, coupons are valid.
If you bought a tube from me, take .05 off per prism.

Thanks canary for the info. Glad to see these are being honored.

Hi Canary,

I bought 5 through Sidehack in the last group buy. Can I use the coupon as well or would Sidehack have to order for me or can he PM you to verify they were mine?

Thanks

Canary,

Please sing me a song of "successfully received your PM / Payment and reserved your spot in line" -- assuming you take requests, you wonderful little yellow bird, you. :)

Thanks for running this GB, btw.

{EDIT:  Ordered 2 in total.  Second PM sent, fyi.  That should be it for me this round.   Thanks! }

Reserved 1 for now.  Probably more later if shipping holds firm.  Will send label when you receive.

Ty!

I have a few "old" USB Block Erupter 300+Mh/s units... so, I'll include one per order, in the order of blockchain record of payment while supplies last.  In case you wanted to have one for collecting/historical purposes...

And has the price been estimated already?

Looks like 1.47 + shipping (usually in the $20 range depending).

Just confirming, they don't come with PSU's right?

correct, no PSU is included... you have to provide a power source.

Hey Canery,

1. Does each unit come with the USB device?  I am planning to deploy one at each of my sites so would need to control them separately.

2. Have ordered an A20, so wondering if you are working on an image for it?
If no one starts this before I can get to it, I may start trying to port MinePeon to the device.

3. Is it possible to split PSU these units?
I have several of the HP DL380 850W PSUs. What I was thinking was put two boards on each supply. Thus giving head room for overclocking.

I will be in for 2 just got to wait for transfer in from bank to Coinbase.

for question number 3.

I had the short tubes and I was able to use 2 psu's on 1 tube.

Each short tube has 4 sides   each side has 2 pcie jacks

Never plug in two psu's to 1 side

but 1 psu plugged into 2 sides and 1 psu plugged into   the other 2 sides is safe

Always leave 1 pcie jack of the two jack  on each side  empty and you will never fuck up.

look at the side with 2 red pcie plugs  in the two jacks.     this is safe with the same psu.   DEATH if  you do this with 2 different psu's

I thought I had read about someone doing it with the Tube but could not remember.  The tube was just not enough bang for the buck with it's controller issues.  I use ghash.io and the "last pool in a thousand lakes" so was not keen possibly only being able to mine there with it. Mainly these will but put up for rental at MRR.

That would be great! I've already asked in the official Prisma and MinePeon threads about it, but no response (yet).

you can install your choice of OS image on the cubie and then install the cgminer on it...
I think cubie has a website with all kinds of software packages: http://cubieboard.org/download/
