PowerColor ATI Radeon 6950 2GB
For sale is one perfectly good PowerColor AX6950-2GBD5-2DH.
This card is great for bitcoin mining as it features a flashable bios allowing memory clocking down to 150 mhz (saves almost 30 watts, 13 watts less than over memclock - 125. It also can be flashed to modify the default voltage. The card has the dual bios selector switch so if you screw it up you can just reboot with the switch moved to the backup bios and once booted, move it back and flash again.
Anyone who says they haven't overclocked there card is full of it, of course I've overclocked my card. I have a couple of these I need to sell, so the fastest of the cards goes to the first, second, third auction winner, etc. Stock the card is 800 mhz, but I have seen stable clocks in the 870-930 range before depending on how well you cool it. I of course make no overclocking guarantee as everyone has different expectations, it all depends on how cool you keep it and what voltage you choose to run at.
My typical performance from one of these cards is in the 345-390 mhash/sec range. They can be quite power effeicient at 1.00 volt and a slightly reduced core clock. The heat sink is a good design and seems to perform well for me.
I bought these cards last summer in July/August and I believe they have a 2 year warranty which I will honor by proxy (you pay return shipping if it has to be returned to me). I can also provide original receipt from NewEgg.
Since I will be selling a few of these I encourage you to buy several and I can combine shipping. I can carefully pack 5 of these cards into a Large International Priority Mail Express flat rate box without the original packaging. If you really want the original packaging and the accessories I can send it in the original box with matching serial number but the shipping will be more. Might be able to fit 1 card in the Large or Medium flat rate box (which for international is the same price btw).
